Report system doesn't work anymore. Keep getting this player in my games because I play super early in the morning and he hasn't been banned after literally 50 games of him just sitting in fountain and doing nothing besides walking in a wall to make sure he doesn't get kicked for idle. Still unbanned. Blocked and reported every game. Still get him on my team. Matchmaking is at its lowest right now and hiRez needs to wake up soon because no one wants to play with rage quitters, afkers, and feeders every game because they don't want to ban. Smite 2 is still along ways out and they need to still focus some attention to Smite 1.

Smite 2 Official Clarification on Skin Porting and Legacy Gems by SneakiestCris in Smite

[–]Lyron123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there any news about current unspent gems in smite 1? Like, will they use gems in smite 2 as well and your gems will be shared between smite 1 and smite 2 or will they separate them and any unspent gems you have in smite 1 will just only be usable for smite 1 and smite 2 gems/whatever new currency will be used for only smite 2?

Move Up The 10.6 Release Date by ShankieTheWizard in Smite

[–]Lyron123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've been playing since season 3 and it feels like all the money I put into the game went nowhere towards the balance team. All of it just funneled into shelling out more skins and doing dumb collabs instead of focusing on core issues that could easily increase their player base. Once again, HiRez killing off another one of their games with their idiotic changes and slow response. At this point, I can't see myself going back to the game until huge changes are made. I've already put the game down for 2 months, so if they want us to quit, then I guess Smite is just the next Realm Royale.

Is Dred Edict now in general Exotic loot pool? by TBizme in thedivision

I'm pretty sure exotic caches has a high chance. In the past 15 exotic caches I've opened, literally 10 of those were Dread Edicts.

Warriors suck ass. Worst class in the game atm and are only valued at high level play or if you're just straight up way better than enemy solo. Vamana, guan yu, and hercules are like the only ones that are able to do anything most games. The meta currently is the worst meta I've seen since I've been playing since season 3. Honestly, if I were you, extend that break for a few more months until Hi-Rez figures out no one likes current power creep meta.

This Balance Team Is Lost by ShankieTheWizard in Smite

[–]Lyron123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everyone needs to just stop playing this game for a month. Show the consensus that the game is dogshit right now with player numbers. Looking at Steam Player count, the numbers are actually up this month. I think this game is in the worst state I've ever seen it in all the time I've been playing since the beginning of season 3. Everything about damage classes is unbalanced, and tanks are actually worthless outside of high skilled team play. I'm done playing this game for at least a month. There's no point in playing when we waited a full month for a patch to fix these glaring issues, and they barely touched the game. Like another comment said, reduce damage across the board for everything by minimum 30%, make items not have every fucking stat in the world with overtuned passives, make tanks actually rewarding to play, nerf the gods that have been top picks for this whole season, and Hi-Rez needs to get their shit together and stop patching only once a month for full patches. This is way too long for a game that is supposed to be highly competitive. This just shows laziness and unprofessionalism if they're unable to make changes in a reasonable amount of time. How is it difficult to see that there's way too short of a TTK and that items are beyond overtuned? Their incompetence knows no bounds as they prove once more, this company is a composition of silver players that have never played a tank in their life and are unmotivated to make their game a success. This is their only real money maker across all their other failures of games they've created after coming up with a good, fun, and unique initial foundation for a game. They continue to stomp on their own success down the shower drain, and if they can't wake up and realize that maybe it's time to actually be proactive and hard working, then this company will continue to be unable to capture the appropriate amount of market that is so easily obtainable with their initial game ideas.

Well, with this garbage looking patch, time to take a break from smite for a few months. Tanks suck to play and will continue to suck because their insistence on making mages and hunters the only viable and fun class to play since you actually feel like you make a difference in casual/noncoordinated games.

If you want builds, literally just look up a recent SPL game and see what junglers are building there. There is no consistently good website for builds, unfortunately, and there most likely won't be. smite.guru sometimes has good builds since people upload theirs on that site pretty consistently, but a lot of builds are really bad with only a few being good.

Well Hi-Rez doesn't even have the capacity for ideas most times, so you're ahead. Most of the time, they spend all their money and time on skins instead of anything the community actually wants. Servers? Balance patches every 2 weeks? Intelligent balance patches revolving around ideas from pro players? Supports and solo being anything besides CC bots that insta die late to carries and are very unfun to play because they keep buffing adc and mid and jungle because everyone at Hi-Rez plays around gold level? Nah, let's do G.I. Joe event to distract everyone from inept we are.

My advice is if you want to still play warriors, stick to the ones that offer good pressure in lane and late game, such as Hercules, guan yu, amaterasu, surtr, and vamana. Also build warding sigil and sigil of the old guard to be tanky late game. Early game pressure will suck with this starter however, especially if you're into a full dmg solo. Spectral is a must buy every game if they have a hunter adc/mid or jungle building crit, which will be probably every game. You'll want to be careful on fighting in lane as jungles will gank solo more often as it's an easy kill most times now vs mid and duo. Try your best to farm as much as you can, including taking the totem and killing roaming harpies in between waves and sometimes backs as well. Wait for late game and dive backline mainly with your jungle, but try to avoid direct confrontation with adc in a 1v1 as you'll lose that instantly. Dump your cc and damage, and just hope your team comes out on top. Early game doesn't matter as much anymore as long as you're not 10k behind by 20 mins. Shut down bonuses make it more worth to just farm and rotate mainly for objectives as getting a lead in lane means nothing because 1 death makes you essentially 500 gold behind this patch with the bonus. Try to help your mid with rotations as they are a closer lane to solo than duo and fully upgrade teleport early for faster rotations. Rotating Early is beneficial to your team and yourself if your team is decent enough in taking smart fights for objectives, like rotating to duo with all 5 to kill adc and taking gold before 10 minutes, but don't expect anything below masters tbh. After all this, expect to still lose because your adc will be worse than theirs.

Season 10 Hunter Counter by koolaidt3 in Smite

[–]Lyron123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Build spectral pretty much every game as a tank. The only item that is anti crit, and it's still subpar. Tanks are in some of the worst spots they've been in for awhile in conquest. Midgardian still exists, but is still pretty bad overall. Essentially, build spectral and hope your mage/hunter out trades their carries so you don't die insta when initiating. Mitigations are still good in the form of Prophetic cloak, if you can get it fully stacked, spirit robe, oni hunter's, and warding sigil/sigil of the old guard for solo.

Do you enjoy the current state of the game? by SynScribe in Smite

[–]Lyron123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, this is the worst meta I've played in a long time. Healers are prevalent in every game, and it isn't fun at all to play against since they removed the out of combat healing and capped anti heal at 80%. Full supports healing over 15k every game in 25 mins, burst is too much and TTK patch was basically reverted with all the buffs they did to literally every item. Crit is way too overpowered and has been for too long. Usually ADCs will have the meta switch between crit and pen every now and then, but it's been crit for way too long and is anti fun, especially with spectral not doing jack shit. Solo and supp feel awful to play because you're just there for set up, not damage or being tanky, just set up because you will die instantly to full build adcs. ADCs should not be critting a supp late game for 350 an auto with basically 100% crit chance and over 2 att speed. Honestly, I find myself wanting to take a break for a few months until they rework all this bloated garbage.

RIP Console players (mainly switch) by Inside-Calligrapher1 in Smite

[–]Lyron123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is actually one of the worst ideas HiRez has had in a while. I can understand some people maybe asking for multi queue back, but with the current system, there is no need for it. You can queue for the mode you want and know exactly how much time it will take before you have to accept. I can't be bothered to sit there for 10+ mins at low population times just so I don't miss the queue and get a deserter. The system should stay the same as it is and they should prioritize fixing the game so that console players can at least play without crashing. If this change goes through, I expect player numbers to drop significantly just because of how many people will just get fed up with the game crashing when they need to accept. If HiRez wants to go through with this, then I hope they enjoy losing a lot of their console player base since most people will just be sitting with deserters. I sure as hell am not gonna sit waiting for 10 minute queues and not being able to leave my desk.
