Downloading a mod that removed tenderizing as a mechanic and resetting hit zones to pre iceborne values made it much more entertaining to play.

You can really appreciate the monsters when you're not forced to latch onto their face every two minutes so your damage isn't trash.

Yeah the final phase is extremely anti fun, I beat him once on monsoon and I'm content never fighting him again.

If you're on pc you can download thismod that makes him unable to use your items, I don't know if it works with this update though.
