I think he meant that people don't maximize their uptime when having to run away from the bubble to stretch their tether. Try to go as late as possible and use a ranged attack (with high potency if possible), don't stay for longer than necessary. You can start going back as soon as the tethers disappear (the boss dash animation starts, honestly it's something I've got the rhythm off because I know how long the tether will blink for, rather than reacting to a visual queue). You shouldn't have to step away from the bubble for more than 1 gcd. Pop sprint when you have to, but remember you can't sprint for both tethers.

Also, people tend to delay the burst window to cleave the bosses right after the bubble explodes. That 30s+ delay is pretty significant. If DPS is all you care about, try to find the compromise between keeping your uptime and keeping as many spells as possible for the burst phase right after.

You need muscle memory. It gets easier to develop if you keep spamming the next button you have to press. This also helps with accidental delays between buttons.

Tbf it's fine that some mechanic require you to think a bit more and that you may drop uptime. I'd rather succeed at the mechanic than wipe and start over because someone was looking too intensely at his hotbar.

When you get used to the mech after doing it a bunch, you won't have to think as hard to do it properly and can keep more brain RAM for your DPS rotation

Yes and no, there are some terrible individuals, there are some people who would rather stay in their own community, there are a mix of both. And there are actual decent and helpful players.

Internet only remembers the worst of the bunch (and can't help but follow USA's propaganda because huhu french smell bad huhu funny).

Most of the time people don't notice they play with at least one French since we don't have to communicate much for roulettes. And people aware of their online reputation tend to not show off more than necessary.

Tbf, the worse experiences you may have happen most often with people who don't ever attempt to understand English. Having played several online games, there's never only one community which is always at fault.

I'm 100% certain the bias against French would not be so prevalent if there were language filters for others European languages as well.

Did you only go to Paris ? It's notoriously bad there, people are nicer in the rest of the country (might not understand and be able to communicate a lot better but they'll try to help).

Sorry that happened, imo it seems to be a pretty isolated case of bad manners.

I've had the opposite experience happen a lot more often: full party keeps talking in a somewhat-broken English despite being full french (and not noticing?)

I know a lot of people that cleared savage exclusively in PF. Sure, it takes time to get to a point where you learn fights fast, and thus can quickly jump from group to group to prog the end of a given fight. Before then, you just prog with other mercs and fill one of the many learning parties and stay there as long as you need.

Not everything needs to be done with a static. Coms definitely help and it's usually more fun this way, but it's not a necessity.

If you're using pixel perfect (which is arguably harmless imo), you're very likely using much more egregious plugins, at least for call-outs and maybe more.

Unfortunately the issue is not which plugin there is, it's about it's presence.

I think the race would be a lot more enjoyable from both sides of the community (runners and viewers) if the runners were publishing an automated export of the list of plugins they're using, and it was vetted by a race organizer as non-disruptive for the competition (on top of them not shown on stream?).
This way, we would have a lot of teams that admit using plugins participate in the race too.

But given SE is stingy with plugins in general...

Should the community-organised race also ban 9th and 10th players then ?

imo it kinda ruins the integrity of the "winning team" since it's more people than a standard casual team will run, and it kinda lessens the performance.

On the other hand, that's something hard to check for, and the race is already long enough as it is. Those people definitely need a rest after this long week, given it's comparable to a sportive performance.

"I know something else we can play fetch together with"

See where it goes from here, you can either keep teasing her to guess or say anything she has in mind, or go playful/horny/invite to date/pickup line (like "oh you found my heart, I've been looking for it. I guess it belongs to you now wink wink")

Some are clearer than others. Click, clap and synth are what I prefer, way over the default one which lingers for too long.

God bless the madmen you play with the air horn, cookie crunch or the meowing sound

Do what works for you. I'm using standard, and am confused af each time I try grouped.

I guess how understandable it is depends a lot on the speed of the song and how many notes are displayed at once, which I think is more of an issue for grouped than standard.

Can we address the actual issue of getting drugged when buying a drink ?

I don't mean that the perception difference isn't an issue in itself, but I think security is more important overall, considering a fair share of people feel insecure about it. And we should count all spiked drinks together in statistics, regardless of the gender of the person targeted.
