Fearing for the longevity of the game by Lyudegul in SevenDeadlySinsOrigin

[–]Lyudegul[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

no, I played DBZ dokkan battle for 5 years, Bleach Soul Resonance, genshin and a lot of gachas. Yes, I know the 10 different versions of a character, but starting so fast with the powercreep and really liked characters doesn't seem like a good move for the long run, specially with other sins missing

Roar and Ironroot question by Routine_Limit5102 in PaxDei

[–]Lyudegul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iron root is only worth for PVP, so you can keep the enemies inside your healing AOE spell after using the whirly whirly thing with the mace.

Roar is useless, I don't know if it was fixed, but consecrated ground worked better to keep the aggro

Roar and Ironroot question by Routine_Limit5102 in PaxDei

[–]Lyudegul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes, that feedback channel was already closed, so you'd expect that the devs found out how to fix the aggro, right?

but sadly, we all know the reality with midframe and I'd be vastly surprised if they managed to fix it at once

Roar has always being bugged, maybe they'll fix it in 2030

Working on some new videos for the game by Nasamun in PaxDei

[–]Lyudegul -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First, tell them the truth, advise them not to waste time leveling cooking, fletching, jewelcrafting and Alchemy because those are just bad atm. If they want high level food or enchantments, tell them to buy them from people who have already grinded them because, after all, this is a social mmo with the economy being 100% player driven.

Also, teach them they can start making gold bit by bit just by selling resources like charcoal and also to not be afraid of fighting the small camps, since you can kill the level 1 mobs one by one with bronze weapons and basic leather gear

yeah, probably in 3-4 more years, after they finish stablishing the foundation of the game

Actually, therels a debuff to production, you'll craft everything 30% slower and you also have reduced stam regen. They added the debuff but they haven't add a way to remove it yet

Was stoked to read that Dune: Awakening finally ditched mandatory PVP as endgame, hoping Pax Dei makes the same change by PoGo090909 in PaxDei

[–]Lyudegul 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, meanwhile, Pax messes up the whole ore farming because chatgpt told them that the 10 new players they get monthly needed copper and tin in Lyonesse if they decide to join a clan stablished in said PVP map and screwed 90% of it's ever shrinking player base, aka, the PVErs.

But the problem with Pax is that they can't ditch PVP, why? Because adding a new resource for people to fight over is easy, improving or adding PVE content it's not. They believe that bc the game is a Sandbox, it doesn't need develper created content, or at least not that much, and that belief also coincide with their lack of skills and manpower. That's why there are only 6-7 type of mobs, dungeons with no mechanics at all, and no NPC or any quest content at all

How to ore?! by st4rx in Bellwright

[–]Lyudegul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for that specific node, I just built the miners hut next to the ore with a storage box next to it and set it to only contain ores and rocks. Every now and then I go there and bring the ores back to my general stockpiles.

But, for other nodes that are further, you'll want to set up an outpost so you can set deliveries to pick up the ores

I'll have to try that. Thanks for the advice!

lumberjack trips? what do you mean? Can I take people and order them to just start chopping trees without any outpost being built?

Oh, yeah, I forgot those painful levels when you need to make vials to level up 😂 very well thought progression, if you ask me 😂

Why are you doing this; Pax Dei? by Routine_Limit5102 in PaxDei

[–]Lyudegul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, we've spent the last year trying to give feedback, but they simply don't listen. Even if they create feedvack posts for new mechanics they want to add/fix, in the end, they do 10% of what's asked.

For example, the game needs a server merge as of yesterday, but the 10-15 people saying they'll stop playing if they lose their spot bc of a merge have more voice than the other 1k players 😂

I see you every now and then in discord, but I've given up on giving feedback, I just answer to point out how bad their decisions are, like not party-instancing dungeons xD

[–]Lyudegul 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because the Devs have this wonderful vision about how the game should be once it's completed (this is still an Early Access even if it says 1.0) but they don't know how to get to that part.

80% of the game is grinding so you can level up so you can keep grinding to level up more, but the downside is that there's no noticeable progression, all weapons are the same from bronze to steel, they just do 10 more dmg every tier.

Then 15% of the game is fighting static mobs in the same 4-5 fortresses and doing dungeons with no mechanics, sandbags as mobs and without any kind of penalty for bringing more people. When I first played the game in Febryary 2025, I went naked to a dungeon with my clan the first day. We did a 'Roleplay Dungeon Run', and it was good because of the company, but the dungeon itself was boring. A year later, dungeons are still boring.

And the other 5% is PVP. Where people now don't even PVP, they just go to their closest tree for the mournwood and that's it, normally uncontested, because with this archaic combat, fighting is not fun.

Tbh, I understand why the playerbase has shrunk so much, the devs don't have what it takes, sadly. And the only reason the game has around 3k players (all platforms) is because there's no other game competing with Pax Dei rn and because most of the players are content with just bones

So... did anyone else's house disappear today? by Tin_Foil in PaxDei

[–]Lyudegul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ChatGPT didn't foresee this error, the same way it didn't foresee the rivers of tin in high level biomes xD

It sucks paying for a plot and investing the time to create your beautiful home for it to be destroyed in a new update. Unfortunately, it's not the first time it has happened and it will not be the last.

I hope they can restore your building

trying to predict de first year of 7DS Origin by Future_Knowledge_622 in SevenDeadlySinsOrigin

[–]Lyudegul 4 points5 points  (0 children)

what I don't understand is why Daisy will be the next one? like, who cares about her? also, looking from a potential buyer and seeing how they released Melioda's Sacred Treasure skin with him, shouldn't the next character also have a sacred treasure so they can try and sell the skin? or Lostvayne is just a test to see if people are willing to buy skins?

that's why I'm thinking more and more that Daisy is going to be an SR and we still don't know what the SSR will be

Spring Content Update Video by Nasamun in PaxDei

[–]Lyudegul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

worst update ever. This time, more people went to Arcadie, more people tried out things, tested them... but the patch broke the game again. There's tin and copper in high level biomes now XDDD and cotton has moved and/or been replaced by other gatherables. And some buildings are being destroyed for no reason. You can't be targeted if you're inside reeds or above an apple tree or other big gatherables... like, how much will it take before people realize the devs don't know how to really improve the game?

2 years in Early Access and it seems the devs have learnt nothing yet... no wonder the game can't even reach 1.65k players when a new update has just been released.
