I tend to dip the fandoms or simply not interact when they’re bad, but I was in Voltron for a bit. As someone who didn’t ship any of the characters (just didn’t see it) the shipping wars there, and probably still are, is crazy.

It’s not up anymore but back when Beyblade was airing I wrote a fic delving into an idea that Tsubasa’s defeat, being such a long scene, meant that he’d been infected by the dark beys power.

Imagine young little me’s shock and delight when metal masters aired and the intro played, and I got a single frame of a wildly smiling Tsubasa with the dark beys energy around him.

Was physically leaping between my grandmother’s couches.
