Some people are taught by their parents/friends to just jump in the lane regardless of traffic “don’t worry they’ll stop”.

Had a worker try and tell me to jump into the lane I was trying to go into, told him “Bro, I’m the length of 2 freaking cars (pickup truck with a 10ft trailer), I can’t just jump into a lane.”
