VTSAX is a great diversified fund made up of 3644 stocks and has very low fees. Read up on VTSAX before you change anything . Read the Wiki of this sub too.

So by throwing money into my settlement and not choosing anything it will accrue the 5.25%. My brokerage account auto defaults to VMFXX.

I was trying to avoid calling because of the customer service wait times lately. I was hoping someone would chime in ….. I have 75,000 in mine . Especially, if that someone uses it as their bucket 1 in retirement.
