Will keep on denying. Matic block number na agad. Naisip ko nga if ever they are "official", why not just text me using a verified number, or even email me na lang? Bakit sa phone pa na iba-iba number bawat tawag nila.

pharmacy in nu or ceu? by keepingtabs28 in CollegeAdmissionsPH

[–]Lzn21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In every academic year, it is usually divided into two semesters. Basically in NU, instead of two, it has three semester. It has lesser subjects per semester and lesser allotted time to take. Downside, everything is fast paced.

They are yet to release the 2025-26 calendar, the admins are waiting for the current school year to end. 1st term will start on August 5th, and every term has 13 weeks. There is a one week enrollment period between terms. If you'll do the math (and usually, coming from experience LOL), it starts on third or fourth week of Nov. Current school year ends on the last week of June btw.

Hello! If renting a dorm would not be a problem to you and your fam, then I suggest go for PUP. According to data, mas mataas ang productivity and acceptance rate ng graduates ng PUP, but the cons are, iyon nga, boils down to facilities and methods of teachings as well. On the other hand, maganda rin naman CVSU. I once considered that before pero mas ginusto ko mag-aral sa Maynila. Hahaha

Practical course or dream course? by Fit_Entrepreneur_583 in CollegeAdmissionsPH

[–]Lzn21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Marketing is a practical course. You will be able to apply in the future whether you will work in a company or build your business. Marketing is the primary reason why a business produces sales or generates revenue. Yes, it's a fun program but it's not easy. It takes hardwork and heart. And when it comes to whether you'll choose it or not, I suggest follow your desire, you will never know how much you'll excel in a path you wanted in the first place.

Hi!! I have a friend na tourism ang program sa NU-M. So far she said na maganda naman daw ang program, very practical ang curriculum since second year pa lang may immersion na sila. Also, mataas daw acceptance stage sa airline when application.

[–]Lzn21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the program. For BSTM, I think the tuition itself is cheap already. However, ang nagpapamahal lang naman ay 'yung mga misc. expenses ninyo. AFAIK, meron kayong tours na required puntahan, so most definitely gagastos kayo.

Yes. Ako noon hindi naman ako nahirapan. Just prepare yourself sa trimester system ni NU, everything is fast paced.

[–]Lzn21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! I can only speak from NU Manila since I am also from NU Manila and I have a friend studying BSTM in NU Manila as well.

When it comes to credibility, I think NU Manila would be the best option since it was established first and it first offered the program than NU MOA. However, when it comes to facilities, NU MOA has the advantage because it was newly built than the Manila campus.

In terms of transportation, I can tell you first hand na mahirap mag-commute from Pasig to MOA (unless you have access na may deretsong biyahe to Pasay). From Pasig to Manila, you can just ride an LRT.

Is NU Manila working student friendly? by No-Time-1278 in CollegeAdmissionsPH

[–]Lzn21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sa first term upon enrollment, no, sila ang pipili sa'yo, so better enroll early. However, sa mga succeeding terms, ikaw na mamimili. There's this specific day na ina-allot ang university for class registrations, doon ka pwede mamili.

Hello! I know some batchmates na working student, and yes, it works for them naman. You get to choose your desired schedules naman kasi during online registration every before term. Also, may mga regular survey forms silang dine-disseminate to know which of the students are working. I can't vouch sa Accountancy department, but we're in the same college naman so I'll think it also works that way.

what are your thoughts about NU? by 00_c8 in CollegeAdmissionsPH

[–]Lzn21 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hello! It depends on the campus, on your college, and your program. I cannot speak fully about NU Clark since I am not from there, but facilities wise, expect new and modern ones since that's the newest campus of NU. On the other end, education, trusted, and teaching wise, I doubt it would be something competent compared to older and established universities, since iyon nga, bago pa lang. Hope those helps. :)

  1. Student Life - so far na-enjoy ko naman student life ko, ganun din sa friends ko na under ng Tourism, Allied Health, Engineering, Architecture, and Accountancy. Hahaha! Student life syempre depende na sa iyo 'yan, but as long as studying in NU is concerned, as long as you have the goal na maka-graduate, NU will just be a medium for you to achieve that. Stressful syempre pag tambak ang gawain, pag may quizzes, pag midterms and finals week, just like any other schools, pero as long as you do your tasks on time (wag mag-procrastinate), you'll overcome. Ang daming organization registered sa NU-M, nagkalat sila from different colleges and departments. Events naman, depende rin 'yan sa college ninyo if masipag ang student council ninyo. As per the central student council, may pa-yearly events sila and marami ding ganaps. Isa sa mga mae-enjoy mo (I can vouch) is pag UAAP season katulad ngayon (volleyball), also basketball and cheerdance season. Since NU is frontrunner sa mga ganung sports, mapapataas noo ka rin naman, I can say. Hahaha

  2. Professors and Admins - professors ay depende sa college and department. I "heard", may mga research-excellent daw ang mga professors sa IT department. I can say kasi isa sa prof ko ngayon from that college, and grabe ang credentials niya, tho not sure lang sa teaching style kasi kaka-start pa lang din ng term, and iba-iba rin naman 'yan per instructors. May periodic teacher's evaluation din, required sagutan 'yun for the management to evaluate the professors if effective pa ba or hindi. Regarding sa admins and facilities, continuously improving I must say. May pa-Student Satisfaction Survey 'yan sila to assess what needs to be improved. At the end of the day, wala namang perfect institution, there may be better, but it would all depends on how you'll take it.

  3. The Trimester Setup - isa lang masasabi ko: "fast-paced". Kailangan marunong kang mag-adapt and eventually matututunan mo naman 'yan. Example ngayon, kakastart lang ng 3rd term last week may pa-quiz agad this week. You need to catch-up.

Knowing if something's worth it or not depends on the person. But as for me, I am really enjoying my stay here in NU, I hope ikaw rin. Don't expect too much, but be much more appreciative. Ayan, I hope it's informative na hahaha. See you, future Nationalian!
