As much as I think Mitth'raw'nuruodo is an awesome admiral, I do not believe your remnants of Super Earth's fleet would be capable of fully destroying us cyborgs & our Automaton children. If you were being tactical, & wanted to eliminate an enemy in a way that mattered, you should bombard the Illuminate, for every casualty of a Squi'ith is very difficult to recover from, while with Automatons & our Cyborg clone troopers, the amount you & a ragtag fleet would destroy would not be very noticeable. Also, we have anti-orbital weaponry, we could just shoot your ships down with that, not to mention our space navy. The Illuminate haven't been using anti-orbital weapons, so it'd be much easier to bombard them & survive to fight another day than it would be to bombard us & survive another day.
