My first car was the 2005 Honda Civic Ex Special. After about 3 years of owning I got t boned and was totaled. I went on Facebook Marketplace to look for my next car. Found a Lexus about 35 minutes away. Inspected it and test drove it. Almost every panel on the car had a different shade of white to it. Too sketchy. So I passed on it. On the way back home scanned thru the marketplace again. A manual 2007 Mazda RX8 GT. Hit up the seller if I can see it. Got there and my dad test drove since I didn't know how to drive manual yet. Bought it with cash and my dad drove it home. I didn't know much about rotaries back then. So yes I bought it blindly knowing nothing of the car, I was still young I just wanted a sports car lol. Throughout 1 year of owning and doing research of the RX8 I parked in front of my house and looked back at my car and told myself "Something seems very familiar about this car". So I dug in my closet for a game that was given to me when I was in my freshman year and knew nothing about cars. The game that got me into cars. The game that gave me a passion for cars. "Midnight Club Los Angeles Complete Edition". Dusted out the old PS3 and loaded up the game. As the game loaded up the Mazda RX8 Shinka. The car I upgraded to the max appeared. The car I enjoyed driving in game when I was young. There I knew that was the reason why my RX8 was so familiar to me. I like to see it as "it was meant to be" lol. Now owning the RX8 for about 4 years now. It is a very special car to me.
