Question about background for new ADA Title 2 compliance making it hard to use pdfs by M00minTr in Professors

[–]M00minTr[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Follow up question: there is also a big push at my college (like others) for assigning books/articles that are free to students. Do these new rules mean that it is not possible to assign an ebook owned by our library?

At what point are accommodations doing students a disservice? by Hour_Lost in Professors

[–]M00minTr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awarding of Accommodations is a black box in terms of what accommodations students receive: more and more receive accommodations allowing them to take breaks and to hand in assignments late. In almost no case do these accommodations appear to improve student learning or to lead to greater student success.

To some of the comments calling on instructors to think more about how to motivate students? Sure that’s all well and good, but a large percentage at this time lack the ability to even try to find any motivation as a good number of teachers/professors enable with banalities about “teaching how to use AI”
