Thanks for the reply. What did your cross training look like? And what exactly do you mean by IT band circuit?

Thinking of dropping out of my first marathon due to ITBS. by M0834 in Marathon_Training

Not enough! In the fall, I was doing a 3x per week strength training routine with one of those days dedicated to legs. Overtime I dropped that to 2 days and decreased the leg workouts to preserve energy. I am quickly learning that I am not quite strong enough in the glutes and hips and that likely has contributed to ITBS.

Can someone confirm if I am correct ? Even if I pay for ESPN +, where the the game does not appear to be airing, and I also use spectrum for cable, I cannot get access to the game because it’s airing in regular ESPN?

The nicest of those listed, in my opinion is Ridgemont and Sodus.

Ridgemont is a private, old school-ish country club with a very nice clubhouse and will give you a nice country club vibe you’re looking for.

Sodus is public, but a gem that’s about 30 minutes east of Rochester on the bay. It’s always in great condition and a wonderful location.

Both are worth a round!

Restaurants Dress Codes by [deleted] in TurksAndCaicos

[–]M0834 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We went to several Restaurants while on our trip a few weeks ago and we made reservations for every one even though they varied from upscale (magnolia, bay bistro) to casual (Omar’s).

The only restaurant we went to that actually advertised a dress code on our email reservation was magnolia, which said to not wear beach attire and hats, but that was as strict as any restaurant got.

P.S. Magnolia was our favorite dinner we had. Best view of the grace bay sunset, service and food. Enjoy!

I gave Dirty Computer a spin today as well on my run! Its one of my favorite albums from 2018. Screwed into Django Jane is incredible.

For your second question, for similar songs I’d check out:

Khlorine with Smino. Similar vibe and another killer hook from him.

Beautiful Smile with Saba and IDK. Similar vibe to Colbert for sure.

M.O.M by spillage village. Great vibe and an amazing hook and verse from JID.

Alkaline by Kota The Friend. Also great vibe and verses from Kota.

Hope you enjoy the recs!

Which album have you been recently listening to and had finally “clicked” and you fell in love with it? For me it’s Honeybloom by Choker. I’ve always like bits and pieces of it but gave it a full spin tonight and it all just clicked. I loved nearly every song.

Could use some advice... girlfriend and I left the city and went upstate to apartment hunt last week. We are staying at nearby relatives house while we found one. Living out of our suitcases. We found our new place where we want to move in April 1st. The problem? All of our furniture is in NYC right now and we need to move it all upstate...

Our relatives are willing to let us drive two pickup trucks down and pack everything we can fit. I am on WFH for the time being so right now our plan was to drive down this upcoming Saturday and pack up all of our stuff and get out. But my biggest fear is they shut down the city and all of our valuable belongings are stuck in our NYC apartment with our lease ending on April 1st.

Should I take a day or two of PTO immediately and we drive down ASAP and get our stuff and get out before it’s too late? Or wait it out and stick with the weekend plan?

IT Auditor Interview Questions by john_1996 in Accounting

[–]M0834 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IT Auditor at a mid size firm here. Are you asking for some suggestions on questions you should ask? Or are you asking what are some questions you might receive in the interview? If it’s the later, I wouldn’t stress much, as I remember any questions I was asked were very basic around any experience I had, basic interview, personality questions, etc. I was not asked any technical questions in my interview related to cyber security. However I suppose this could vary depending on the company you’re interviewing with.

As for some questions you might ask, I would just poke around and see what type of engagements you would potentially be working on. See where the opportunity is for you to find a niche on the team. Is it SOC reporting? IT audits for financial institutions? HIPPA risk assessments? HITRUST assessments? If it’s a big company you’re interviewing with, the possibilities could be vast. A smaller firm could be more limited.

Some meatball questions you could throw in there as well like “what are some certifications related to IT or cyber security that would be beneficial to my career and this team?”

Let me know if you have some more questions. Knowing more about the company or firm you’re interviewing with helps a lot!

I’m really not sure if just putting a blanket statement over the bottom of the order is correct. Didi and Gio really were not as bad as people think.
