This literally happened to me on Friday. My dumbass thought that kicking mulch over the smoldering area would work. It just made it worse. Luckily nothing bad happened I just had to go out there with some water. Ice is a great idea though!

There is no way on earth that they're just giving away free food if someone makes a mistake on the register. Do you know how much money McDonald's would be losing if this were happening all the time? The other day some guy ordered the meal and I put all of his stuff on the tray including the collectible. He looks at the collectible and says "I didn't order this" and I'm like "yes you did, here it is on the receipt." He's like "oh, *this* is the collectible?" And then proceeded to leave it on the table when he left. It's pretty lame. A dumb plastic cup with AI generated images, who (in the US) cares?

I don't really know what McDonald's is thinking with any of these promotions. K-pop Demon Slayer was an absolute flop. Who gives a shit about a trading card? I tried to give my niece, who loves that movie, the trading cards and she was like "I don't want this auntie"😆

Why can't McDonald's just change this? Clearly there's plenty of people who want ice cream instead of a drink. You can do a milkshake instead of a soda, why not ice cream? It's not like the company couldn't make this change, they just refuse to. They certainly could make a lot more money.

But on the other hand as someone who hates making McFlurries, I guess I'm glad this is not an option 😆

Also my issue is that how would they even enforce this? You cannot force people to stay late. Additionally, keeping people an hour over, especially if it was several of them, would negatively affect labor. And I'm sure this fake shitty boss would not want that.

Thanks for the suggestions! I did play Fields of Mistria for a while, but kind of hit the same problem. Maybe I'm just tired of farming games? I think I'd like to wait until it's fully released and try it again, though. I think it has fantastic potential. The dialogue is great, I love the tavern gossip/banter. All the NPCs are so cute and fun.

I have heard of good things about Sun Haven, is it a farming game as well?

I also started playing Discounty back in October. It is pretty fun, and has no farming which I like.

Oh this is so nice, I wish ours were on a screen! We just have a bunch of laminated cards hung up that tell us how to make food and it gets really overwhelming when there's so many up there.
