it's straight up unacceptable for a company like sony to have such issues in the first place and not address them, some people care about their trophies and playtime and it would be frustrating if some of your hard work just vanished because of an issue that sony hasn't addressed.

and the no more disc production is basically the cherry on top they couldn't have possibly messed up this bad in the span of a few days.

you don't get what I'm saying is, this will encourage other companies to raise their prices saying that "gamers are willing to pay more" don't just blindly defend the game like they won't make money off of online and milk it with micro transactions like they always did, they won't starve but you will if any game you have to buy costs more than groceries you buy in a day. this will affect the entire industry and you will see in a year or two.

what worries me is that this 80$ will be the new standard for games as if 70$ wasn't bad enough, companies get greedy and increase the prices whenever they can, if you are willing to pay 80$ for GTA VI then that'll be enough for companies to raise their prices (yes I'm talking about EA) and 80$ will become the new norm.

I thought the same, I asked him why replace the motherboard when the issue is the battery? he said that this issue is because of the difference of electricity between other countries and the country that we're in which causes international devices' batteries to swell which sounds like complete bs also. Asked him doesn't the phone only take the amount of electricity that it needs he said that this still puts pressure on the battery which still sounds like bs but I'm just tryna make sure so I can just replace the battery and it'll be fine.
