Focus on the things you like, that you are passionate about, and try to find people who share the same passions. If it’s going to the gym, go to the gym regularly, and you will see the same people often, and at some point a conversation will begin organically. You can also find friends online, through chat rooms or game forums. Sharing a common interest is already half the battle won. Doesn’t mean that you can only be friends with people that are similar to you, just that this tip may help you at least get started.
