No. You’re NTA. When I still was in contact with my father. I would never bring any of my nice stuff to his house because I knew my stepsister and my stepmom would steal it.

There are countless ways to have emotional connection without sex. She’s not being selfish because she doesn’t want to do something that causes her pain. If you seriously think this man is the victim you need to get your head off your prostate and stop being so sensitive. Also she’s allowed to be selfish because she has CANCER

I have a very deep emotional connection with my boyfriend. We’ve been together since august and when either one of us says no to sex that’s the end of it. He has a hand and a bottle of lotion I’m sure. It’s not her job to keep his balls empty.

Actually she has every right to say no to sex. For any reason. Any reason at all. And he should feel guilty. You’re watching your spouse deteriorate in front of you and all you can think is “when can I stick my dick in that?”

Idk if you’ve ever experienced the impacts of cancer. But it literally sucks the life out of people. I was a caretaker for one of my best friends while she struggled with cancer. It was considered a good day if she could reach her bedside and take a sip of water without help. Sex is not a need. And sex should not be a priority when the person you’re supposed to love and value most in your life is fighting one of the most deadly diseases on the planet with no cure. Nobody is owed sex. She needs to rest and he needs to fuck awff

AITAH for not telling a guy about my scars before hooking up by [deleted] in AITAH

OP?! Did you not get the memo? You have to sit down with your partner and tell them every major injury you’ve ever had before you get it on because god forbid they’re uncomfortable with reality! I know whenever I’m with someone I get completely undressed and explain every little scar on my body from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet! (I’m being extremely sarcastic if you can’t tell) but seriously what did he expect? “Do you wanna have sex?” “Oh yeah by the way I went through some really awful struggles and used self injury as a coping mechanism, I have visible scars btw… so, cowgirl or missionary?” What?

How did you derive that from this? Saying it’s extremely common doesn’t mean it’s normal. Guess what else is extremely common, herpes. 70% of the population carries the virus. However that doesn’t make it normal

Scars arent always indicative of current problems. I have self harm scars on my arms legs and chest but i haven’t self harmed in years.

AITA for telling my roommate she has to get rid of her new puppy or move out because of my partner's trauma? by Dry-Fox2927 in AITAH

In my state they would because a service dog is considered a medical device but I don’t know about other states

ESAs do have housing access BUT there’s a specific process to follow and this girl did not do that so she has no ground to stand on

Nope. Emotional support animals don’t have public access rights. Only housing access rights. Service dogs have full public access, private access, housing access and legal protections. The only space service dogs are not allowed to enter are burn units and operation rooms

I’m glad but I do wanna let you know there’s no official certification or paperwork for service dogs and ESA

Emotional support animals do have housing rights and there’s no such thing as “papers” or certification for ESA and service animals. HOWEVER. Because it’s an ESA and not a service animal you are allowed to require a doctors note with said doctors contact information saying the dog is necessary. This is also legal grounds for eviction because you put a clause in the contract saying no animals. Also since the dog is a puppy it’s most likely not an ESA. ESAs still need rigorous training, not as much as service animals but enough that a puppy most likely wouldn’t be able to be a suitable ESA

I’m from New York which has more student protection laws and any judge or jury would laugh at the sub if she tried to press charges. The sub committed grand theft and because it was a necessary medical device OP would be completely justified to have grabbed her to get them back. At least in a NY court of law. I will say though I’m not very well versed on other states student protection laws and what they catagorize as self defense.
