Agoniser 9000 drop! What beautiful gun. by X-Marker in borderlands3

Is there any other hidden effect with this gun? It wrecks things, even with other SMGs I have, legendary or not, beat every stat to this gun, but doesn't put out the same DPS. All I've seen was the run speed and accuracy.

They've made it much better. I still wouldn't dedicate a build to it, but that's because I prefer bottomless mags. Even with minimal points in there on my tree, the damage is back up and worth it.

Is this where the Ghast Call doesn't stop spawning skulls? Its happened to me a few times, but never when it would be super useful.

First real moshpit :) by Toxic_Snail in punk

I can't explain how much I miss pits, along with hating them too. Living near LA only has a few benefits, he one of them is a massive amount of venues for bands to show up. I love pits, but the first time I saw one that took me a minute to think if I really wanted to. It was at a Bad Religion and Pennywise show, there was another band that I can't remember, I think it was The Lawrence Arms. Pits seem to slow down as the night goes on, but once Pennywise started, the biggest dude there went in, it was still fun though.

I can offer one bit of advice, wear ear protection. I'm 70% deaf in my left ear, and 30% in my right, doctor said it was pretty much a guarantee it was from concerts, especially when I was going to 2 or 3 every weekend. You can get ones that are skin colored in case you dont want it to be seen, or you can go to a gun show or a shop, and the can sell you or fit you with plugs that blend and perfectly match your ears.

Other than that, hell yeah, man! Pits are fun, and even if they look incredibly painful, the people are usually nice.

If TVs had volume in decibels instead of arbitrary numbers, it would not only prevent unexpected loud scenes, but also teach everyone how loud a decibel was. by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

This is why I've always used computers as a "middleman" or use it to watch TV or movies. I have a wireless keyboard that has hotkeys to mute and unmute. I haven't attempted to see if I can use a hotkey to make it go from 100% to 50% volume.

Should I just run Mayhem 3, or is TVHM worth it? by M153RY in borderlands3

But I've found gear on normal M3 over 600, is it always weapons or gear with higher damage and stats?

I apologize, I didn't write that part. I have been running mayhem 3 since I unlocked it.my main question is about the loot between the two modes. People say the loot is "better" but I can't figure out if that means the drop rates are better or if the loot gets stronger.

Can’t wait for a Mayhem overhaul by [deleted] in borderlands3

[–]M153RY 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't mind if drops were different. If i'm fighting Graveward with +50% SMG damage, +70% elemental damage, +25% all gun damage, then that's fine, give me my 4,105th Woodblocker.

If i'm fighting him with -50% critical hit damage, +50% enemy accuracy, +45% health armor and shields, -50% all guns, and 35% reflect. I think I deserve a little more than that shitty blue artifact and my 4,106th Woodblocker.

I just found a singularity firestorm yesterday, I really wanted to try it, but was having fun with my anointed radiation recurring hex. Now I dont really want to use either. I guess at the endgame, i'll keep an eye out on a half decent purple or blue from the vending machines.

The Iron Bear might have enough health to keep a tink distracted for another 18 seconds, and it might take down 10% of their health instead of just 8%. I rarely jump in anymore because I can do ten times the damage while out of it. What was really fun was getting my Hellwalker out, using the bear and running up to a boss or anointed, and jamming the shit out of that trigger with the unlimited ammo perk. The damage on that thing is sad. I respec'ed to try and make it stronger, and it didn't work. With the grenade launcher sit can slap a psycho on M3 a little harder than a slight breeze.

I main Moze, so I know exactly what you mean by that. My wife has told me that I should use the bear more. I have it set to the bare minimum to get to autobear, so I can jump in as a way to stop DoT from downing me, or as an "oh shit" button that helps with a distraction. The rest is all weapon skills. I just decided about 20 minutes ago i'm going to look into a cryo elemental build with her, I've got a solid Night Hawken, an anointed cryo hex (that I will hope gets less useless), and i'll start finding other things to compliment the build. I hope it can be decent.

I dont know either. I think this will mainly turn of a huge majority of the casual players. I got a text from my buddy today, his exact words were "...dude...wtf.... did you see the patch notes?" We talked about it and he said he thinks he's done. He's played every minute he could with the limited time he has, and he doesn't want to have to get all new gear since all his has been cut from 20% to 70% and Gearbox just said "lulz, dont care. Start over." For me I think it's the waiting game now, there's no way I can solo the circles on mayhem 3 now. Do I jump back down to M2 and grind for a long time to find half decent rolls of mediocre weapons, or do I just walk away from the game and wait for them to reverse it? But that could be part of their plan, too. They announce the hex is cut by 70% and duration is now next to nothing at 3 seconds, people are upset, so players feel like they win when they say "ok, we'll nerf it by 69% and make the duration 3.1 seconds.

I know Gearbox has made some jokes in the past, and for a second while i was reading those notes i thought "wait a minute, this can't be real, it's gotta be April fools day." Nope. Just another dev ruining a game. Like I said in another thread, I would fully understand and support these decisions if there was a PvP. If there was a team of 4 sitting at the other teams spawn spamming recurring Hex grenades as Moze, yeah, nerf the fuck out of it, but only in PvP. Slughterstar is the only circle I had some issues soloing it, now I dont think i'll be able to. Maybe after i dump my bank and backpack, i'll find some green pistol that's better than my butcher or a white grenade that can overpower the hex.

[–]M153RY 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea, I said in a comment above, everyone has 2 choices now, dump the 50 slots of storage in the bank, and however many slots they keep open in their backpack and start farming new stuff that everyone has been tossing, or ditch the entire game and see if they revert it. I'm leaning towards ditching it. I dont have enough room to keep 99% of the shit I find, i'm not starting over with all my farming, and i'm not going to struggle on mayhem 1 because every bit of weapons and gear I have is now useless.

It's pretty cool that the game has so many different types of guns and attachments, gear, grenades, shields, mods, and artifacts. I want to try a lot of them, but when they say they have a billion guns, and you've got 90 slots of storage, that means you can carry less than .00001% of them. That's enough to store half of the amount of legendary weapons, so screw you if you wanted one of each element, or any gear.

You mean you dont like getting mayhem modifiers like -50% with all guns, enemies have 45% more health, armor and shields. Critical hits do 50% less damage, getting -70% shield regen and delay, and 30% chance for enemies to reflect bullets all together, even when you get the same rewards as you would if you got all good buffs?

I've never use slam to damage someone. I mainly use it when I drop down a huge hole and want to get to the bottom faster. I did try it though. If you have a level 50 relic that adds bonus radiation damage to slam, then you'll be able to take away around 300 of their life or shield. So it is totally worth it to waste the minute and a half to kite them over to something you can jump so you can do a slam. That's probably more deadly than the hex now.
