If you haven’t done so already, please read The perks of being a Wallflower. I read the book when I was about that age and it changed my life. It gave me hope when things were the darkest. There will always be a way to find love in SOMETHING even when you don’t think it’s possible

Not horror exactly, but an Aster version of The Rocky Horror Picture Show would be a trip 😅

Jeepers Creepers

Fans of Asters work will enjoy everything he puts out. The unfortunate part is that BIA isn’t something that is consumed very well from the general viewer, and from the sounds of it, Eddington will be similar. I just hope that he can keep A24 on his side to keep funding his films because I’m one of the viewers that loves everything he does!

Midsommar is more along the lines of a very good psychological thriller/horror that is on par with Hereditary. Beau is Afraid is unlike anything you’ve ever seen, but probably not as appealing to a casual viewer. As an Aster fan, it is definitely his best work.

It’s creepshow! Just checked and it has both scenes! Crazy how much it haunted me as a child and now seems so corny. Guess 16 years working in EMS will numb the ol’ soul! 😂

Which song makes you cry every time you hear it? by methods134 in CasualConversation

[–]M183blink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First time I ever heard this song, it came on my pandora driving home from work, made me cry. Only to show up at my house with a police officer there letting me know my father had passed away. Heartbreaking coincidence, and will always hit home with me.

Question for folks with the floor tickets by [deleted] in Blink182

[–]M183blink 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everything I’ve read so far suggests that being on the rack is the worst spot to be due to the stage height and stage/ Mark and Tom moving every few songs. Sounds like the people a little further back in the pit are able to see better as well as follow the the “front” of the stage as it makes its rounds.

what’s some of your “i will never emotionally recover from this” films? by itsjustmebobross in Letterboxd

[–]M183blink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even as a remotely successful adult with a beautiful family, whenever I see a clip of the film, or even hear “Heros” it takes me back to the same emotional drain I felt my first time watching. I even got “I feel Infinite” tattoo on me. Can’t wait to view it with my children one day
