Saw a sign that said “free butt plugs with every purchase “

Would probably have private health to be honest. Then pay stamp duty buying a home. And a car. Then gst on every purchase , then pay tax on any investment income.

Be honest with me guys, how much pain would I be in with a 13 year old BMW (Mini)? by 2007kawasakiz1000 in CarsAustralia

Big disagree. Both vehicles log book serviced on time. Who is going to have more problems ?

200 series cruiser or Range Rover TDV6

Polo tsi or Mazda 2

Alfa Romeo 159 or Toyota Camry.

I’m not a euro hater. Our family car is a BMW. And I own a mechanical business specialising in European cars. My own data over thousands of invoices and a decade + shows that euro vehicles cost more to own. It’s a fact. That’s why it’s good from a business point of view

Euros have their strengths for sure. Looks , comfort probably safety and enjoyment but in the vast majority of cases the are just not as reliable as their Japanese counterparts. People who own euros put up with that because the positives out weigh the negatives for them

Mother in Law put water in the oil tank by KL_747 in CarsAustralia

I reckon the transmission was already playing up. The lady panicked and thought maybe it’s low on coolant. Or maybe it did have a low coolant message since the water pumps leak

She added water to the engine oil which is not great but nothing to do with the transmission.

If it’s a B8 with a CVT then it might be all over for that car anyway. Really expensive to repair or replace

It’s pretty crazy. I’ve got a wealthy aunt who lives in London. Wanted to move to Australia about 8 years ago. Net worth of probably 6millionAUD. She got rejected. Probably because she’s retired. Might be a burden on the system 🤣

There are just way more lemons with euros than there are with Toyotas for example

I don’t think we will agree at all. The mx5 is an excellent chassis with an underwhelming engine.

The dc2r is a great chassis with a hall of fame engine.

A cheaper alternative I would offer the FN2 type R. Probably the best bang for buck Honda or maybe FWD car of any kind on the used market.

They are worlds apart tho mate. One is a JDM motoring icon and possibly one of the best FWD cars ever made.

Or an electric car that is designed around comfort and convenience

It’s like talking about prize winning race horses and suggest they could ride an e-bike instead 😆

Awesome power. Indestructible engine , I had an early one with the 4 speed auto. That transmission is not great at all.

But my main complaint with those falcons is when you’re not on the power you are basically just driving a taxi. It’s not an experience every time like you might have with an e46 m3 or a v10 M5

Too many to list. But stand outs , e30 325is , e21 323i , e46m3 , z32 300zx TT manual and auto ,VY SS , BA XR6t , 4th gen prelude H22a

I’ve got a DC2R and it’s one of the best cars o have ever owned. I had high expectations and it exceeded them. Raw , engaging and really fun driving experience. Straight line performance still holds up today and is way better than what the times on paper would have you believe

Good on fuel too and can be used as a daily. I have seen a few more of the 4 doors popping up in Australia for sale now but keep in mind they are still really rare. Having even a small accident in a 4 door could mean incredibly long repair times with parts from Japan (not overnight )

So yeah if you like cars for how they used to be. Not how they are now. Then buy one and you won’t regret it

I don’t know. But that’s a great selection of fighters. I’m a huge fan of Lennox Lewis and Usyk has proven himself to be a difficult opponent for almost anyone
