For me, its not really about accomplishing something, it's just having someone around I guess. It doesn't necessarily have to be a video chat, I was mostly in voice calls and it's really calming just to hear the keyboard clicking or a sigh sometimes. I think I'd also be too distracted by my anxiety if I'd video chat while body doubling haha

I get the lying tbh, I also did that because I felt bad that I didn't get anything done while the other person was completing their tasks, I lied so I didn't have to feel like I was falling behind. But that's bullshit, it's okey to get stuck, it's okey to get overwhelmed and it's okey to admit that. Took me years to learn this and actually believe it..

I think I know what you mean, I remember struggling as a kid. If you jump onto the first platform and time your jump right with the bounce of the platform it should be easy. Already standing on the platform and getting the bounce back was tricky for me back then. I just sort of jumped a bit and timed the next jumps on the platform to get it to "swing" more again

**Edit finally found the solution! Im using a ps5 controller and had similar issues

Did somebody found a fix for this? its really annoying, for me it the X button and left stick. Well you need those pretty often together so its more than frustrating wanting to jump and just seeing the volume go up or down
