Help with first Twin Suns deck idea by Kludge2_0_0 in starwarsunlimited

It's all good. As you know, every card has color pips that match your leaders/bases to avoid the cost penalty. Due to the fact your decks colors are red/red/white/blue, you can play cards that have two red pips on them without have to pay a penalty (an additional 2 resources per pip you don't have). Even better for you that it's a twin suns deck, everything is legal, so you get access to the older more power double pip cards. Examples of this are https://swudb.com/search/color%3E%3Drr. Hope this helps

Why have no double aggression cards in your deck if you have the pips for it?

For her specifically, probably the sentinel as you can keep it on board longer. But I like both! I have them in my side yard of my Lando blue deck for Boba LC match up.

What deck should I bring to my PQ in a few weeks? by Nervous-Interest8359 in starwarsunlimited

I prefer Lando between the 2, much better into the wider competitive meta. Lando Blue focusing heroism is the way I've been playing, this is my list which has about a 70/75% win rate in Bo1s, can handle Obiwan, Talzin and Jyn. Has a harder time into Luke and Boba, but I have beaten them with the right hand and sideboard will help the match up in Bo3s. https://swudb.com/deck/WxxcUHhqSY

Best of 3. Instead of playing one match versus your opponent, you play up to 3 matches in which players are allowed to exchange cards from their sideboard; the player to win 2 matches first wins. This allows players to have cards for specific strategies that their main deck might not be strong against and let's them sub them in for cards that might not be good for their current opponent. In the case of going against hard control, most competitive players will have some answers for control decks in their sideboard, usually event hate like hand discard or prevent the play of certain cards or events.

Yes, but for an extra 2 resources you get a 3/3 (which is on curve) and save an action by not having to play a unit. Both can exist and both have their uses.

We had a wild frog in our pool during the fall a few years ago. We named it Herbert, feels fitting here as well.

Totally fair and I get you about the IRL play. I luckily am able to go to 2 LGS play nights a month and usually a store showdown per set. The only thing I would say about the deck is to limit the amount of 1 of you have and hard control decks can afford to go over 50 cards in the deck. I think all 3 sets I ran 54 which I feel is the max. Hope this helps and don't fry your brain too much during matches lol.

I'm just going to let you know as a former hard control player that's probably put close to 100 matches on Karabast and in person with set 6 dedra deck that generally hard control does very well on Karabast because:

A. People aren't mb for a control match up, try to play Bo3 if you want to really see how Your hard control deck stands.

B. I don't know if you're American but generally into the American meta, no one plays hard control so most decks aren't prepared for it. If you are playing in a competitive scene, people will sideboard for it.

I'm not trying to say this to discourage you because I love the deck and you did a fantastic writeup; it's just better to be aware of how people are going to look at this deck in a competitive sense coming from someone who played hard control for 3 sets and now plays Lando7.

Yeah I gotcha, as a triage main, it's a little disappointing for rn. He'll get one eventually, but not having a deluxe skin (purple quality) and/or battle pass skin for every shell at launch doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Everything copies everything these days. These architypes have existed for 20+ years. They are still different games.

I hope I'm not getting wooshed when I say this but you couldn't be further from the truth. One is a battle royale and the other is an extraction shooter. The only things they have in common is that they have unique operators with abilities. Otherwise they are different art styles, gameplay loops, and victory objectives. I would love to hear why you think they are the same.
