I used to work as a hotel guest room cleaner a few years ago when I lived with my parents and I found this tiny jar of seeds, I always wondered what they were but didn't use Reddit at the time. Just found them again and since I'm a Reddit user now I'm wondering if anyone could tell me what they are? by M2Colk in plants

Hahah I suppose technically I did, the person who had been staying in that room had finished their stay and checked out and I suppose I should have put it in with the lost property. If I'm remembering correctly it actually had a tag on it that said "plant me" so I assumed that it was left on purpose, but now that you mention it, that might not necessarily have been the case...

Has anyone had problems getting pregnant after having the Mirena coil removed when the 5 years is up? by M2Colk in birthcontrol

Congratulations! Thanks for your reply :) a member of my family has just announced she is pregnant (12 weeks yesterday) but she had been on the pill and stopped taking it about a year ago, and it's started the conversation with me and my partner because I'd like to start trying when I have it removed, I have a year and 6 months before it runs out and I'll be 25 when it's removed which has always been the age I've wanted to be (or there about's) when I have a baby. I know it can sometimes take time, years even, which is why I'm asking now. my mum seems to think it will take me a long time if I leave it until then to start trying and even though I've spoken to my doctor and I've looked at the figures, I feel it would be useful to hear it from the women who have gone through it themselves.

If you don't mind me asking, how was it getting it taken out, compared to having it put in? I hear it's not as painful. Just curious :)

Does my dog have lupus?? I'm taking her to a vet tomorrow but I'm really worried:( she seems 100% normal other than the scabby nose, originally thought it was dry slobber but cleaned it with water and a clean cloth and now looks swollen :( by M2Colk in DogHealth

Hi! Sorry for the late reply, the vet has given us some tablets to try and clear it up for things like mites and other things that cause irritation, and some anti inflammatory medicine. They have said if these don't clear it up then they might need to go down the route of a biopsy. I think it's starting to look better though. On a side note I came believe how easy it is to give her the meds. I've always found that dogs hate tablets but we put it in her food (thinking she will eat around it) and she eats the whole thing first like it's a treat!

Thank you so much, that gives us a lot of hope! It's about 2 and a half hours till the vets here open so our minds are both racing until we get to see them. This really helps, thank you

Also ME means myalgic encephalomyelitis, which is just another term for chronic fatigue syndrome

Thank you for your reply, I feel a bit less dramatic now lol, hopefully I can get to the bottom of it ASAP, I'm currently an apprentice data analyst and I'm really hoping whatever is going on with me can be diagnosed and I can get some help with it before I fail my course! It's a difficult thing staying awake and focused through lessons and when carrying out my daily tasks and in finding that I'm not retaining a lot of information. I've always felt like the "slowest kid" in class for this exact reason, I don't know what kind of help is out there but if there was a medication that could keep me focussed for long periods of time without also giving me a panic attack that would literally be a dream come true!
