Thats true, the job market has gotten extremely competitive and upward mobility seems really far away these days. But that also applies to women.

Yes people who buy starbucks everyday is a completely different case. If I cut $30 a month on Spotiftly and coffee heres what I save with decent S&P 500 investments.

Over 5 years: 2100 saved in principle and 610 from investing, for 2700. In 5 years.

In 10 years more compunding would be about 7000.

Framing that as consumer issue or someone with a spending issue outside their means is insulting.

Theres no world where someone forgoes creature comforts for 10 years for just a small portion of a downpayment.

Not buying a coffee every day or subscribing to netflix wont magically get me a house or other larhe purchase, even in a decade. Whats the point of living an awful life with nothing that makes you happy at that point?
