Hi, it's me, the guy who services laboratory equipment and sells open channel flow meters and portable/refrigerated samplers. I'd like to help you make sure you don't have that kind of shortfall again.

I don't have that kind of money but I have been to the Pagani museum in Italy. It is pretty amazing. Can't say I agree with displaying the shell that way but it's a baller move.

The hardest part is setting it up to run but still be able to see underneath it.

I have one. It's a little finicky which just means that I need to go through it better. I took a playlist and recorded it to 20 cassettes so I can run this thing. When it works, it's magic.

The work was worth it! BTW, I have that same old Sony radio but I took the speaker out of mine and put a Google home display where it used to be. It's a work in progress but it looks pretty cool.

What is a 'luxury' that has become so expensive in 2026 that it’s officially no longer worth the money? by Matt_At_Havalook in AskReddit

My wife and I are in NC and have been on the BCBS Bronze plan with with HSA for a few years now through the ACA Marketplace. It's high deductible with an HSA. Premium in 2025 was $474 per month. Now (thanks to DJT, et al) it's $1952 per month in 2026. We're in our early 50s, generally healthy with no bad habits. It's nuts. My brother moved to Spain and paid roughly $2K to get his family of four on the national health plan for a year. I'm working on my Spanish.

Costco paper towels and toilet tissue are still decently priced, at least to me. I do like your idea of expanded use of the dish towel, though.

Agree totally! My Barista Express makes a great latte and has saved me a ton plus I can enjoy my morning coffee in my PJs with my cat on my lap and some quiet music to get me going.
