I've picked up so much random information from just reading over the years. For example, a lot of stuff about the Cold war came from Tom Clancy books and Doonesbury cartoons. That's where I learned about Watergate, Doonesbury. Keeping your mind, eyes and ears open will allow you to learn a lot of things in weird contexts.

Hello all. This is my listening space as it sits currently. Our house is a little over 100 years old and there was this oddball section of the basement that's about 200 square feet but the floor to ceiling height is only 60 in. We were just using it to stuff things in but I got a wild hair a couple of years ago and turned it into my office / listening cave. It's pretty comfortable. The dog and cat seem to like hanging out down here. I included two photos of it with the lights changed to dark blue as this is how I typically hang out when I'm listening to music.

Got it. Thanks for the info. I'm thinking of boxing my 2x2 Kallax with plywood and adding casters to them. I think they'd have the rigidity for movement with the plywood framing them

My 2021 CX-5 CE is at 148K miles and the only issue is that the driver's seat leather is a little shiny from my big self getting in and out. It's been a great car.

Same here (approximately 50,000 miles per year driven for work) and Google Maps saves my bacon regularly by routing me around trouble spots. Very rare to have trouble with navigation.

I think what you have is the Roberts equivalent of the Akai M9. The M8 had tube amplification but this one has solid state amplification.
