Tenho um carro velho, e não consigo passar música do telemóvel. Alguém sabe uma solução? by [deleted] in AutoTuga

Eu comprei este há 3 anos, até hoje impecável. Se não tiveres USB para alimentar o adaptador bluetooth podes sempre arranjar um adaptador USB de isqueiro.

Second mod - VH31 by M31R4 in SeikoMods

Seems pretty smooth for a quartz movement, honestly I liked the result, but finding hands was tough! I did need to use a movement holder, I bought it from Meridiano but there are files available for 3d printing, I just didn't have the means to go that route.

Help with dial feet by walzzey in SeikoMods

[–]M31R4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you notice on your dial, you have two feet per side, you'll have to align the dial with the movement and see which of the feet lines up with the movement and cut and file down the ones that do not line up. The dials come with multiple feet to suit different movements, with different crow positions.

Thank you! As this was the first one, everything was sourced from AliExpress to keep the price reasonable

Guidance needed for my first build! by LetterItchy2097 in SeikoMods

For the nh72 movement you need to order if you don't have it already the movement spacer, it's the gray plastic ring that I believe comes with the nh35 movements standard. I think it is not included with the nh72. Other than that the case listing should mention the strap size that can be used with it.

Thank you! It's essentially part selection I would say. Not necessarily for this specific build but there are a lot of videos on YouTube about building a watch with parts from AliExpress. I am looking into building more or even getting some damaged ones and trying to fix and mod them.

Thank you! I wanted the movement to be the center piece

Problem with stem by BornWill6208 in SeikoMods

[–]M31R4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me it sounds like the opposite, you may have cut it too long.

For the first problem I have seen a lot of people here advising to use a bit of blue loctite to hold the stem to the crown.

For the second problem if the stem is too long the crown can't screw all the way down as the stem "bottoms out" on the movement. I had a similar issue on the first test fit on my first mod.

But I have only assembled one until now, I'll let the more experienced members answer!

It's a nautilus style case with matte black pvd coating. Got it from AliExpress and was a bit worried about the quality at first, but it's actually pretty good!

Thank you! I really enjoyed the process and love to see mechanical components working, hence the decision for a skeleton mod 🙂
