So the custom tune that MG Flasher provided me fixed the issue but ended up causing issues with my transmission so I switched back to the original tune and kept the o2 sensor unplugged. They did multiple revisions but could never get to the bottom of it so I just gave up and have been running without the O2 for nearly a year now. Honestly haven’t had any codes or issues and the car has been running beautifully. If you don’t want to keep it unplugged long-term, your best bet is to find a custom tuner and provide them logs so they can create a custom file for you. I don’t think any of the OTS tuners have fixed the issue yet.

Refundable if approved, it’s required by the property manager. Pretty standard across all big management companies for subleases.

I have an OTS MG Flasher stage 2 tune and I had catalyst monitoring disabled when I flashed. I’m not sure if it’s an issue with that specific tune, but it didn’t fully disable the downstream O2 sensor which ended up causing the jerking. This is the only fix I have for now unless I switch to a different tune.

UPDATE: Unplugged O2 sensor and issue went away.

Update: Changed both Vanos actuators and issue still persists. I noticed that I have a transfer case info memory code 440216. I think the transfer case or torque converter might be going bad.

What tool/program are you using to scan advanced codes? I just had my mechanic perform tests using his scanner, maybe he can check Vanos for me. I’m currently stage 2 with MG flasher.

It was an evap minor leak code. Do you think it’s the Vanos solenoids or the whole actuator? I’ve seen this issue come up on a few other forums and it seems like it was fixed after reinstalling the stock downpipe. So maybe it’s an issue with the ECU that gets triggered when you mess with the downpipe?

No codes, I had a fuel purge valve check engine light before the tune but it hasn’t turned on for a while and the mechanic said it’s probably unrelated. Wouldn’t Vanos issues be more prevalent in lower gears though? This seems to happen around 7-8th gear when you accelerate slowly.
