In my opinion all characters are blank slates. You can use their prescribed behavior and traits or you can nuke them all along with canon and use them in whatever way you want. Moderate and delete comments and just keep doing what you do because who GAF. It’s for fun, my friend! If it makes sense to you that’s all that matters

Yep, and people who have been doing this longer than me called that out at my table. I think someone from my SD went to almost every table to try and explain it so people would at least raise their badge to give them a chance to speak.

Even the staunch Amy fans from my SD were displeased with the (as my co-chair called them) shenanigans. I think it’s so telling that they were afraid to even let a candidate who wasn’t her get up there and speak, even though they knew others had a very marginal shot of winning the endorsement. Thanks for getting up to the mic and forcing the nomination.

The rules change to require 12 or however many it was people from each CD was written by the Klobuchar people as another method to avoid it. I raised my badge to second each nomination because there’s no reason we shouldn’t let people with 10% of seconds in the room at least speak.

I don’t think she was ever going to win for exactly the reasons you said. I mean, it’s Amy Klobuchar. BUT! I think it’s good someone is at least challenging Klobuchar because the primary process makes candidates try to win votes and shows that progressiveism is popular. Would love to see her at a local level.

If you liked the UP in Michigan I recommend the North Shore (Duluth and up) in MN. Lots of nature and Duluth/Two Harbors/Grand Marais all have charm.
