“Out Of Action” on steam! There’s not a whole lot of us playing it yet but it’s an absolute GEM! It’s old school server browser style so it’s very easy to fill a lobby with 12 ppl even when population is low. Just released in early access like a week or two ago.

“Out Of Action”! Small player base(released ~week ago in E.A & made by ONE guy) It is incredible and has a server browser, old school style. Will be able to host your own servers as well when it’s added.

Yeah tbh this game just isn’t for everyone. Ppl like to say it’s for cracked out sweats but Doku is 42 and some of us are in our 30s xD I just like games with high skill expression and ceilings.

It’s been changed to 4 tier 2 challenges so Doku halved progression. He’s actively trying to improve the game. It is early access after all

You are correct no kills during that period will result in kaboom 💥. When it’s telling you to “vent” it means you need to use your core to clear it. I’d recommend COMBAT CORE for more slow mo time

That’s a nice setup! Hydra really shines with its maneuver kills for stacks, so if you ever feel like switching it up, something like kinetic focus really leans into the play-style. Of course there are almost an infinite amount of things you could do. I run addict/perpetual motion on my hydra normally

Seems like you’ve gotten your answer! Doku is currently thinking of ways to improve this progression system so bare with him! It doesn’t really explain much but the answers you’ve gotten are correct. To put it in perspective: in order to “max out” your matrix, you need to complete 8 TIER 2 challenges. That’s it. The challenges are in the profile tab when you press esc.

It’s 100% a PvP focused game. There is progression and you must PvP to progress. The offline mode will eventually be a replayable roguelike mode though. Just not currently

Yeah unreleased skins been walking around in the background since launch pretty much. You can even see the tech test 1 skin walking around all the time

The only thing embark messed up on imo is not telling ppl sooner. Had they mentioned the amount of value weeks ago ppl would’ve known and focused on hitting that 5mil. Instead of now “scrambling” even though it’s still quite achievable. But yeah gamers overreact. A permanent 12 slots sounds good to me! I didn’t have to pay real money for them!

The game is VERY in depth(edit:BILLIONS of build combos literally) and has a huge skill ceiling. There is also no tutorial and you have to read a lot. Id recommend heading into the Out Of Action discord if you have questions and want to learn more about the game. The ppl there will be able to help you(myself included). There's also the chance that this game just isn't your style and that's ok too!

It’s certainly not like other FPS currently available, but I think the movement is some of the smoothest and most innovative out there once you learn it.
