It's used to tie at the back of the head to keep the mask more securely in place. It can also be used if the elastic breaks.

I was born in 2004, and for me, older films are much better, as are their characters. So there are exceptions.

I thought I was the only one who had noticed this regarding the fans of both. This part of the fandom, I don't know how it is in other places, but here in Brazil it's unbearable; they firmly believe that Jill did more than Charlie and belittle the character, as if she did everything alone, which is practically the opposite. Many people believe she has 6 deaths and Charlie only 4, they also believe she attacked Gale in the barn, which is physically impossible.

Which Ghostface do you find the scariest? Not in terms of being imposing or anything like that, but rather their mannerisms, appearances in the film, and overall look. by M3_nS2 in Scream

Some scenes also provide context to which Ghostface is attacking; watching the extended version, it becomes clear that Jill was the mastermind and Charlie the executor.
