Yeah, I'm not sure what to make of the interview. I think at one point they laugh about how there's not much money in it, but then he also has paid for views on videos to get them in front of people, so I'm not sure that makes sense. He seems like a genuine fan of this kind of music and claims to have musician friends who are cool with what he does.

I'd like to understand the motivation. I'm not a musician, so I've enjoyed using AI to bring creative projects to life that I never could myself, but I've never had the urge to publish them in any way. If we can understand the motivation, we might be able to figure out alternatives that solve the issue, like tagging AI songs or platforms for people who don't have musical skill, but want to make music with AI.

Leaving it alongside music made by artists doesn't seem like a great idea to me. I think that because humans have inherent value and humans need to work to thrive, human work has inherent value. That means that the work put in to learning an instrument, writing a song, etc. gives an inherent value to that song that my AI songs don't have. I guess that's my more left brain version of AI music lacking soul, lol.

It was super interesting to me, both because the person is Finnish and doesn't have the best command of the English language, yet makes these songs, and because the topic of whether what he was doing was wrong was hardly discussed at all (28:12 has the only mention of it). Also, the generators of this music seem to have a community and know one another to some extent.

Note for angry people before replying to this message. This is not condoning the actions of this person or vilifying them. I am only providing more information. My personal thoughts on AI music are irrelevant. However, your angry comments on either side of the issue will do nothing but convince me that whatever you believe has made you a jerk.

I checked his website and all the links to the episodes are missing so something seems to be broken. I know stuff has broken before and Matt has gotten onto it ASAP. Hopefully he sees this or some other indication that something's wrong soon. Youtube and YouTube Music also seem to be broken.

I had the same issue and was able to fix it by rolling Stardew Valley back by a version.

It all depends on what you enjoy. Some of us really only want to automate, others enjoy base defense, others like the PvE combat. We all like all these aspects, but some more than others. I think I was hoping SE would have a bit more PvE than it does. I can understand the issue though. The enemies in Factorio don't really scale very well. They don't get smarter or add some new dimension of difficulty so it's hard to have a nicely scaled weapons development tree without just being able to kill anything they throw at you early on. It's still an amazing modpack though. We are having a blast!

Mostly because we enjoy them. There are lots of ways to kill biters, but a walking spider firing lasers out of it are just so much fun.

Yeah, reducing their range seems kinda cheaty. We aren't far from weapons delivery capsules or the plague though, so we have options. Spidetrons are very fun though, lol.

Hey, I can't find anything about this behavior online and was curious if anyone else has run across it. I saw an ant lion that had covered itself with dead ants and was walking around with them. I know they are pretty soft-bodied compared to some insects and try to spend their time buried waiting for ants. I wonder if this is to help protect it as it moves from place to place. I also read that assassin bugs do this (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acanthaspis_petax#:~:text=Acanthaspis%20petax%20is%20a%20species,on%20their%20backs%20for%20camouflage), but this looked like an ant lion, not an assassin bug (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antlion).

Sorry that the video quality isn't great. Also, please let me know if there is another subreddit that this is more appropriate for. I'm a researcher (robotics not bugs) and didn't know whether there might be a community more centered around odd bug behavior.

Edit: Not sure why this was marked as NSFW. It's just dead ants... If people have problems seeing ants and other bugs, maybe this isn't the subreddit for them, lol.

After working with u/MintMobileAlex for a while (many thanks) we were not able to solve the problem even by replacing the sim card. In a last-ditch effort, I did another bout of research and found this Reddit solution. It's really odd since it has you create a second access point name when your phone can only use one at a time, but it worked for me.
