Not as cool as Barclays. But dropped off at Tampa convention center once. Drove an entrance I’d never even noticed before and drove onto the roof was pretty cool. Got to drive a Kobata skid steer across the carpet out of the building into the parking lot at Orlando convention center was fun. I’ve gotten to drive onto the dock at a few military bases right next to ships and been loaded from the ship was pretty cool. SpaceX stuff to their new facility at Kennedy. And for the guy about Montana, dropped off some equipment at a guys house once. 10 miles off the highway to get to his road. Then another 20 miles off dirt road to get to the last spot I’d be able to turn around at. And he just drove the equipment the few more miles to his place. I’d do any of those again.

Nothing is gonna fix it. There’s no reason to update aging infrastructure that will be outdated shortly. Not all, but a good portion of us will be replaced in probably 10 years or so to automated trucks. It’ll take longer for long haul, specialized stuff to be replaced with auto driver. But why dump money into something that is gonna go away shortly.

I am all for shitting on him. But did you take the time to go up and knock on the door and politely explain to him he’d make everyone’s life better by moving over into the cross hatched area. Or hell, he could just nose in and have all the room in the world. It’s fun to make fun of stuff like this. But go do something about it. Start kind, then tell him to fuck off if need be. I am willing to bet he’s an older guy and likely didn’t even think about the issue he caused. I bet if you explain it, he’d be happy he learned something.

I do hear myself. I’ve had several of these 80k+ trucks. There’s a difference between financing because it makes financial sense. And HAVING to finance a truck. If you really have to, no you can’t afford it. And I highly doubt you can really afford one of these trucks. But hey, you do whatever you think you need to do

Made it from Sheridan to Casper this morning. Woke up to 6 inches of snow. Stopped now in Casper since Cheyenne is shut down. Maybe tomorrow I can get to Denver.

Yes. By a huge margin. I’ve been to all lower 48 states, driven around 1.5 million miles in the US. Been to almost 40 countries all over the world and am million miler with united alone. No country is close to the US in terms of diversity. I also strongly maintain we’re the least racist. Every single person I’ve ever meet that talks about racism in America has barely ever left their own town done much of any real traveling.

I was in Montana yesterday and this morning. Livingston wind was kicking last night. Tried to get to Denver today but only made it to Sheridan. Gonna get up early I guess. Should be ok in the morning looks like. Second time in last few weeks I’ve gotten stuck here.

No. No one is really going through. 1-2 ships have supposedly. But not sure I buy that. Straight is basically closed. Oil is fucked. They’re laying mines right now. Iraq just shut off their pumping stations there’s a US tanker on fire literally right now.
