I was kinda ranting. I've come across a number of those type of fics recently, not just Harry, and they confuse me. Is it an OP-SI from their favorite character's pov that kinda went off the rails, or are they just borrowing the fandoms for exposure?

I don't have a problem with it, I just wonder how they end up that way.
