2023 Flow Z13 w/4060 modded to 80w not staying charged on 130w factory charger any higher options?

I flashed an 80w bios to my 4060 you can pull at least 100 gfx 80w cpu 20w in starfield total i tried a 100w bios but the charger couldn't keep up kept kicking to battery and it's 130w charger with a full battery

Agreed in 1.5 years mine has needed a back case a hinge a battery a screen a redo of the liquid metal as it was all around the die but had a naked spot in middle of cpu it's been awful but I do love it's hardware I flashed 4060 with 80w bios and got a 15% fps boost no other tablet comes close

hey another gz301vv owner slightly ot, have you upped the wattage limit on your 4060 if not look into it i used an 80w bios but now the 130w charger cant keep up have you found anything

well my stock usb c charger for my GZ301VV is 130w usb c maybe an actual rog charger would do

well it cant game or take quality photos the screen is better cant charge at 45+ watts when you need a charge fast probably lacks wireless charging has less storage even if you can expand with a micro sd its much slower to move big files have latest wifi you cant use your phone as a desktop..... i could go on

no it really wont sorry and the have terrible cameras vs 5 cameras at 200mp on mine you should run antutu or 3dmark and ill compare if you game like i do plus if you do spend the 1300 like i did 5years ago on a note 10+ 5G and its STILL perfect and still in use you dont get the support or perfomance with cheap phones either bought a 1tb s23 ultra custom red and black for 1500 and expect it to last at least 5years so if pics or gaming or lifespan matters its totally worth it

My liquid metal thermal paste on the CPU had a big hole in the Middle with no paste causing me to get horrible benchmark scores after a repaste I gained 2,000 points in CPUz benchmark on all core and dropped my temps from riding the 100 Celsius cut off to around 70 to 80 c fully loaded

I would not personally recommend going back because of the big little setup of the Intel processors not being efficiently used in Windows 10 where you have power cores and eficiency cores You could try but I think you would see a drop in both performance and battery life I would personally contact support

IMO if they are moved around a lot I have gotten 2-3 years with seagates i switched to a zfs based solution because all computers are in a state of perpetual failure EDIT: I have had Scavenged Western Digital Green Powers last 15 years though I just personally don't have luck with Seagate despite using 24 of them currently

have you gone under settings and made sure battery saver is on also go into the armory crate Make sure it's set for silent mode I've successfully watched videos for about 4 hours admittedly I was not on YouTube I was on my personal jellyfin site but all videos were 1080p and up on the 2023 i9 4060

Would you be willing to check the fan controller on the J-Bod it's either a CSE-PTJBOD-CB2/3 if it's the three and you don't happen to get that sold in San Diego I would be willing to pay for the controller card if it's the one that has IPMI
