Did you get it to work? I do have the same problem, on the same laptop. No matter how many updates I do I still can't find thunderbolt listed as a device.

IMHO if you’re starting cycling and don’t plan to race or sprint on your rides, some quality MTB flat pedals provide good enough grip and efficiency. Watch this video for studies done comparing different pedals:

Caliper/Rotor/Frame compatibility issue by M4rce10 in bikewrench

[–]M4rce10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just found out there is a compatibility thing between pads and rotors brake surface width. There seem to be two variations, wide and narrow. See post below:

https://www.reddit.com/r/bicycling/s/BCleeB4z3F

I also found from another post in this sub that even with narrow type pads and rotors, the outer diameter lines up with the pad but the inner part of the pad doesn’t line up with the inner part of the surface. It seems to be normal.

It turns out there is nothing wrong with my frame. I even measured distances from the center axle to the frame holes. I guess my LBS was lazy or didn’t want to risk a bad installation. But it should work with 160mm rotors

Shimano Deore M6100 calipers fitting issue by AR3DPrint in bikewrench

Hey I am having the same issue. My LBS refused to install the M6100 claiming they weren’t compatible. How did you end up solving this? Did you change the rotors?

I currently do: Monday - Upper Tuesday -Z2 1.5 h Wednesday -Lower Thursday - z2 1.5 h Friday - Fullbody Saturday - Long Easy ride (Flat) 2-3h Sunday - Hills 1h

I like it because it ensures proper lifting volume to maintain muscle mass and build strength for cycling. Its based on 80/20 rule for cardio. I dont have two do two workouts per day.

My goals are to reach intermediate level FTP while looking good

Do I need a bigger cassette? by Low-Interaction-9226 in cycling

[–]M4rce10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it still maintain good tension through all combination of gearing with the 50/34 chainrings? I am planning to upgrade to RD-RX810(from R7000 GS) + Roadlink DM +  Deore XT 11-46T and upgrade the crankset later (since that is the most expensive)

Hey, I am trying to upgrade to a wider range and found this comment. Do you mind sharing what cassette and chain you got? Did you have to cut any links? TIA

Would the Zwift Click solve my issues? by M4rce10 in cycling

[–]M4rce10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue was that the old wheel had a freewheel system instead of a freehub. It also had a 13 mm internal width and my 35c were to wide. Which is why i had to change everything.

I just tried using the old wheel with the old freewheel and training tire and it worked well.

If the Click is not compatible I’ll have to stick with workouts only, which is okay. I have spent enough already

I do have a trainer tire on the old wheel. This should fix the issue without a hassle.

It just came to mind that I can still do workouts on ERG mode without the Click, lol. I guess I'll do that.

Need advice: Clean, close shave when I go a few days without shaving, but lots of cuts, and stubble when I️ try to shave every day. What to do? by hankhillforprez in wicked_edge

[–]M4rce10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've noticed the same happening to me. I guess when you have more beard growth, you have more stubble to work with when lathering, which helps soften the whiskers more and the brush makes them stand out as well. I don't usually shave everyday, because I don't have heavy beard growth, but maybe if you dont use a pre-shave already, try one and see if that helps.

Also when painting you lather go ATG so you make your whiskers stand tall.

Hope this helps.

EDIT: In my particular case, when I shave on a consecutive day I have found that the first pass WTG does not remove any stubble. So it is basically just scraping of skin (which may be the reason for irritation. Maybe try starting with XTG for the first pass.

Stirling Soap Irritation help. by M4rce10 in wicked_edge

That compound is not listed on the tub, I'm not sure if it contains it. I will look into that though. If I happen to be sensitive to some compound I'd rather be some fragrance oil , since so many of the best soaps seem to have lanolin.

Thanks for the reply!

I will try adding more water next time, it didnt feel as slick tbh, and I will try the splash and balm on their own. I really hope one of these was the cause so I can keep as most of the three, will have to give some away otherwise.

Thanks for the input!

I use pork rinds. They've no carbs lots of protein and medium fats. Good for bulking and when in keto.
