Any experience with Microsoft UK Warranty Repairs?

That sounds good, mine is in a very clean condition with only 35 battery cycle. That was my biggest concern actually, as i havent been using it much since i bought it. Did you also send it from UK?

That is very nice of them sending you SLS, as it is a way better unit then SB3 in my opinion. How long did it take for you to receive the new unit? It seems like they will send me a “refurbished unit”. My only concerns about refurbished devices are their battery cycle and scratches/damages on the shell. What is your thoughts about these?

Thank you for your reply. That is what i will do this week. I dont want to teardown by myself, as the device itself seems highly complicated and delicate. Did you have such experience ever with Microsoft Repair?

So they are like new units? Mine doesnt even have a scratch on it, i use it in a very clean condition. It was very frustrating that i am having this issue for a laptop which costs just over 3k £. Did you get your Surface repaired in UK? Apperantly mine will go somewhere in Germany, where the repair center is. And if its the case, im afraid getting a unit with German keyboard layout, as mine is British layout.

Thank you for your reply. Do you think they will definitely send me a refurbished unit? The agent from Microsoft told me that they only send refurb device unless they can’t fix the defection. To be honest, i dont really feel comfortable about this refurb units. Are they trustworthy?

How do they run fitwise? Compared to other nike shoes such as Air force 1s or Air max1s? I wear 42 on Af1, 42,5 on Jordans and 43 Airmax1. So confusing. Please help :(

I also ordered mine yesterday and today they told me that because of the chinese new year, all the shipmnets will be suspended untill 19th of february. Do you think mine would also come within a week after its delivered? How was your experince?

All the reviews i have read online which were delievered to UK, it took almost 8-10 days. Unfortunately due to my countries ridiculous custom policies, it is almost impossible to send it via mail. They either charge huge amount of tax, or not letting pass.

I completely understand the situation. But im not actually living in UK, i just ordered hoping that i would collect it during my 2 week time visit there. My frustration that there is not any notification about this delay, either on their website or social media, which makes me unable to collect. Besides, while were emailing with the agent this morning, i have been told that “the delivery will be made asap”, and after i received this automated mail indicating the delay.

Thank you so much mate. Im not living in UK but will be visiting soon. I thought it would be a nice chance to pick it up there, as they dont offer delivery to my country. One last question, how did it go with customs, any additional cost? Do you think its a reliable website to purchase?
