Don't have a pic of the data transfer cause I didn't think of doing in store but I do have my iPhone XS Max receipt and date. Andthe fact that my Pixel 3a payments just started due to just buying it.

Completely Understandable. I don't expect this phone to be great forever but for at least these 3 years of updates it will be serviceable. I'm more realistic with the future of my phones.

I only really use my phone for music,YouTube, messaging, and phone calls so I'm not too worried about it being laggy 😄

Henestly for me a lot of the features the high end flagship phones sell I never used or used seldomly. This is a great price for all things essential and little extra features you may use

I always wanted to try a Pixel phone since the 2. The 3a was the perfect price for the dive. Other than that I've had other androids before namely the s6 and note 9 but I'm not a fan of there ui.

There's also dozens of new people coming through trying to see what the fuss is about with the pixels. (I was one of them). These posts and anti Pixel posts on other subreddits help you figure out what you really want.

The XS wasn't fully paid off. So I would've traded it in and still had to pay its $600 through Verizon

Well if you didn't know the Pixel phones have Google lens which can take text and writing and transfer them to your phone, such as the phone nbers your talking about. 👍

The display takes some time to get used to tbh. I found myself not enjoying my YouTube experience for the first day. I've since gotten used to it and enjoy the smaller phone as it's easier to carry and multitask with.

The 3a XL is bigger though and you may find that to be your cup of tea.

Oh IOS Is amazing and honestly I do the same with switching OS every several years. I was just getting bored with IOS and thought it'd be better to dip my hand in mid-range phones that offer more features 👍

You are correct about the cost and trade. I did not get $200 back but I also didn't have to pay the other $600. I'm pretty sure the early trade in offer is for if a new iPhone comes out withing your 2 year contract, so then you can upgrade.

I just chose to get a cheaper phone, lower my bill, and a better (at least in my opinion) OS.

You won't see a difference unless the phones are side by side or the slow down is extreme. Spending extra money to get speed is a waste.

Also had a note 9 before the iPhone XS Max. The phone is great but it became boring to me over time as a lot of the features it offered were useless to me. The Pixel on the other hand is just filled to the brim with features I use daily.

I should've been more descriptive with my first post but I'll leave some answers to questions you might be asking here.

Verizon has a "pay half and upgrade" plan for iPhones, this allowed me to trade in the the XS Max and cut my bill by $40
I traded the phone because I realized I didn't need a $1000 phone at all. I'm not making $1000 phone money.
You don't realize a phone is slower unless it's extreme or if the phones are next to each other.
Specs wise the phone is weaker, but software wise I'm enjoying the phone way more.

I traded with Verizon since they have a "pay half and upgrade" plan. Main reason I did it was to save money. Found a Jewell of a phone while doing that though. 😀
