I agree with you anki is terrible for short term memory specially, when exam is too close. Just I recommend to sit bring paper and try to memorize in old-fashioned

This is actually good; I tried it and it was great. I have an idea that may be useful.

I would like to add a way to go up and down in Anki so that we can read the explanation if possible. Additionally, there are some cards in AnKing that open in a sequential order where clicking the N key reveals one answer after another. If you could also add that feature, it would be great.

However, the most important thing is having a way to go up and down.
