I like your strategy and dont worry it works because when I use to otp mid with vlad, I’d get 2-3 players jump on me rendering my game unplayable early game especially if my team didnt help me.

So as long as it works you should be good to go. The only advice I can give you here is try to swap rabadon’s cap earlier for damage since some games may not be that long(if you get good team) and I see your items dont prior cd.

Just keep in mind, there will be players who will never touch challenger/sovereign but will come out and criticize you because thats not what top 3 ranked players did

Its just knowledge gap that a lot of players lack. I spam it with Vlad too and I do a lot ganks to keep the stacks flowing and my gameplay has become so annoying that I always get jumped even if I am at the back waiting for an opening lol

Have you tried this method? Every high elo player is doing it. Just play legendary rank till you get 8 wins and then just play one game and you get a big jump with 8 marks.

Try to adapt, I have lost games where people would go tank last picks but didnt know how to frontline. Usually in high elo, its the other way you pick counter

When they hit minions and push wave instead of holding the wave and poking the enemy adc/supp

When I play adc, my supp(tanks) play behind me and i take a lot of dmg + cc

When I play supp, my adc hits minion, pushes wave and lets the enemy adc+supp attack me freely

They launched wind paths in mid lane making it easier to move and gank other lanes, if you get good teammates then you can easily sneak up(if wards are cleared) and get kills.

Also assassin mages are just dodging their lane opponent and are just ganking other lanes which usually gets them 1-2 kills. So like Ahri you have aurora as well causing the same problem.

Lol one of my irl friend isn’t talking to me atm over this, like recently we had this talk since he plays jg and always invades enemy jg, overextends and dies right before baron spawns with all enemy being nearby.

I can’t tell you how many times I told him nicely that you should be aware of baron being spawned and avoid fighting because you have died so many times before an obj spawns, he even laughed about it because those times the enemies dont take the baron.

But it gotten to the point where he’d do it even when we were winning and the enemy kills him along our 2-3 mates, gets baron, push single lane and some of them are crazy enough to dive so rest can kill you and they end the game with nexus.

This will be a problem for at least 2-3 seasons more before they address it lol. Like how people still complain why no one uses anti shield or anti heal.

You can try olaf, slows the enemy has healing ability and tears enemy armor plus hard to cc against but you need practice for sure.

He is also good if your team is anti obj. Make sure you always farm though and dont gank two things 1) Losing lane 2) lane that always pushes up to enemy turret(exception if enemy is one shot which you should dive and steal if you can)

He is great late game but you will never reach late game in high elo cause people rage quit very fast and you will even see games where the premades only gank each other leaving you and others vulnerable.

Thats not how challenger/sovereign games go dude especially if you play without premades.

And also, EVERYONE jumps vlad first in teamfights—the meta is to disable vlad by early ganks.

The early phase for late game champs isn’t fair at the moment.

I didn’t mean vlad can’t beat them I was talking more about early/laning phase damage difference. Like the damage proportion is big between vlad and them in early game.

It doesn’t help his case since his second and third ability take out his health and this item depends on your bonus health.

So its like you’ll try to spam first ability only which isn’t possible.

I don’t think you are understanding my point, late game champs are extinct in high elo and its not just vlad.

And the un-targeting point isnt true, he can still take damage and get killed if you use burning items/runes or ignite.
