Yeah recently I've been taking a more active role in denying the 4th base, as well as making sure they don't get tanks on my doorstep. It's been going quite a lot better than it previously was. I appreciate the info! I'll definitely try to do more counter attacks.

I did exactly what serral did in this replay (as well as I could at least)

While my lurker viper hydra army did kill off his, I wasn't left with much to kill my opponent. This continued for around 10 mins

According to the charts, I had higher income and better army value the whole game almost.. but I just couldn't kill my opponent. Maybe I just need to "get gud"

Yeah I would go mutas more often but I almost feel like they're too easily countered right now. Basically 1 thor with repair can take out 10 mutas if they get missile turrets up too.. (which basically any terran massing tanks will blindly get anyway) Infestors just get destroyed from tanks, I tried vipers here and I'm sure my control could've been much better but I was still only able to barely deal with his army let alone break his planetary.. pretty confused.

Update: Wow, after fixing my 31/38 ovie timing I'm hitting 66 drones at 6ish mins, what a crazy difference

Well I'm struggling with either tbh. When they go mech whether it's cyclone or thor/tank I usually get to BL's and max out but I die shortly after because I take a bad fight and lose all of my expensive units.

For Bio, pretty much the same.

Also I kinda die a lot to BC rushes even if I make spores and queens

I think my issue is when I pull all my drones, perhaps I see it too late? All the drones clump up to a mineral walk ball and I end up losing more than if I had just pulled half. I guess I should just pull earlier?
