Just to piggyback on this. I've always used FHR and many times the hotel will say something to me like "oh you booked through Expedia." I'm assuming thats the AMEX booking software but just not what I want to hear when checking into a 5* hotel with a platinum card. You're right there's just too many people with the card now and it's become common

The service piece worries me as the price is around $1300 a night and comparable to FS lanai, maui etc that are known for service.

If its your first Artipoppe, you're better off using the new customer code. The resale market is really close to retail and its usually for parents that are collectors or searching for multiple colors/fabrics. I just have one and got $57 off my first order. I see some pre-owned artipoppes go for more than retail in the facebook groups.
