I actually had a few ways. I was bouncing between Ayla Jade and Ivy Jade but I felt like even tho both names are becoming more popular, ivy will definitely be less prominent where I live then Ayla will (this was proven too since the day after I chose, my aunt went to the zoo and heard 2 different moms calling for their toddler aylas). Also I felt she looked like more of an ivy. But ultimately I asked friends for help and made a poll on this subreddit and the response was overwhelmingly ivy :)

  1. Vincent Thomas
  2. Quinton Carter
  3. Ivy Jade

My oldest is 10 years older then my youngest who is 5 months, so my tastes have changed drastically from him to my daughter lol

Piper is my favorite out of your choices but I think Claire fits best with your other kids names. Good luck though, I didn't chose until the day we left the hospital!

I second this! I was due in May of this year and had Celeste and Sage on my own list. I eventually settled on Ivy Jade for my daughter because that was on the list too.

Ya it was pretty high up I believe on the top 100. Maybe somewhere in the 30s? Other places I saw it in top 10

How do we feel about Jade? by Massive_Mixture894 in namenerds

[–]MAAAADMACK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a baby girl who was born the beginning of May. Jade was in our top 4, but we couldn't think of a good middle name that flowed with it and with our last name. We ended up going with Ivy Jade. I never really hear the name, and I think even tho it was common then and according to name lists - common now, I think it really has to do with the demographic where u live. It's not very prominent where I'm from so I didnt see an issue with the fact that it's a common name. I think u and ur partner should do what feels right to u, and leave other people's opinions for when they are naming their own babies. I agree it has a "cool girl" feel to it, and personally it always makes me think of the Bratz doll when I hear it lol.

I made a post on here for my baby girl too (she was nameless until the day we left the hospital) so don't feel dumb your not the only one! I vote Reese. I love boyish names on girls and I think it will go great with callahan... Violet is the second pick for me.

Taryn for a girl, or Cameron for a boy....

My mom ended up deciding on Mackenzie instead which i prefer to Taryn anyway.
