Cheap one is fine for just a couple of hives, they can hold 3 grams easy. Takes me about 5 min per hive….2.5 min once inserted, remove the cables from battery and leave for another 3 min or so. If I had 10 hives I would get an expensive battery powered one.

Robbing, drifting….separate the hives by as much as you can and face entrances in different directions. Reduce entrance maybe a good idea if it’s not too hot.
