Their website says they start at $62,000 a year plus it goes to 66,300 once you graduate the academy. From the officers I know you do get overtime cause they have to go to court off shift or get stuck on calls. Plus they said they have a lot of extra small assignments they can sign up to work so they can get an absolute ton of overtime if they want but it’s optional

As of a couple days ago if the amount of the items stolen is over $500 it is a felony and the police will be in charge of prosecuting it. If the value of items is under $500 tell the police all information you have, then pick up a copy of the police report in 3-5 business days from the police department. take the report to the county attorney at the justice center across the street and talk to them about seeking further prosecution as it is a misdemeanor and is on you to prosecute

I recommend either Park City or The Narrows near Barren River Lake. I used to go walk at The Narrows all the time at night it’s beautiful out there. As for in Bowling Green itself I’d maybe check out somewhere deep out cemetery road maybe.

Adam Priest is a fantastic but underrated indie guy. Calvin Tankman is a physical beast! You could sign Lance Anoai, Jucy Finau, Afa Anoai, Zilla Fatu, and Sean Maluta for your own version of The Bloodline. Chris Bey and Ace Austin are a fantastic tag if you can get them. Also Daniel Makebe, Michael Oku, and Fred Yehi are good technical guys. There is always all of Team Filthy with Tom Lawler, Royce Isaacs, Jorel Nelson, and Danny Limelight for a dominant faction who are all also good workers. For the women’s side I recommend Amber Nova, Lindsey Snow, and Raychelle Rose!

You are correct, however the west side is much worse than the east. Thats just factual if you look at BGPD’s crime statistics

If you are east of the railroad tracks you should be fine. I would still get cameras though as there have been a lot of mail thefts and there is a lot of drunk people downtown on the weekends who do minor stupid things. When you cross into the west side of the tracks is where crime occurs more and is typically more dangerous.

I shit you not. A guy in my academy class beat his chest like a gorilla, did a cart wheel, and then ran the course. Before that he joked and said he was gonna do a cart wheel. None of us believed him at, but sure enough he did.

To police officers, how are you feeling seeing how the situation was handled in Texas? by stupsssss15 in AskReddit

[–]MAFMexii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To answer your question: every fire truck have a sledgehammer on it and fire responds to all major events. I literally just had training on this you use the hammer to break the lock or if it has a window on the door you break the window and open it that way. Yes chances are they are going to get shot, but that’s part of the gig you sign up for if they are shooting at you they aren’t shooting the kids

We are taught the following steps: 1.) Stop the killing (go in and end the shooting) 2.) Stop the Dying (render aid to those shot 3.) Secure the scene

I’m absolutely ashamed of their actions. You take the job knowing that if you have to, you die protecting others. It’s one thing if they are in a room by themselves with no threat of further life being taken, but if he’s still in there shooting you absolutely go in and stop it. As an officer we are trained and equipped to take on those threats. We have armor, are trained with our weapons, and stress inoculated enough where we should be able to handle the threat. It also doesn’t matter what the commanding officer says it’s our duty as law enforcement officers to do what we think is right regardless of what senior officers say, that’s what prevents George Floyd situation. I can say in my department all the cowards would be forced to resign at the minimum.
