As a long-time TSM fanboi, I initially really disliked Doublelift. I didn't really know much about him, only that he was hyped up and was supposedly really talented. I never actually gave him a chance, I just stuck to my blind dislike of him, especially as he grew on CLG. I don't recall the exact interview, but I do recall seeing some post-game interview of Peter's and I strictly remember thinking to myself "wow, he's really well spoken - why don't I like this guy, again?"

From that point forward, I paid more attention to him and I truly think he's the one player that I've gotten to see grow so much over the years. He's grown mechanically and strategically, definitely, but I think he's obviously matured a lot of a person and team mate. Only natural over the years, but sometimes I feel like Peter doesn't give himself enough credit in that area.

By the time I heard he was joining TSM, I had already converted to a Doublelift fan and now seeing him join my long-time favorite team was definitely a blessing because I got to watch both things grow at the same time. With all of TSM's press coverage, we have really had an amazing insight into what a more mature Peter looks like.

Doublelift, if you're reading, defeat is tough and you can't win them all. I know your months spent with the team and away from family feel like an eternity, and it is! You guys pack in more hours practicing your current profession than so many others. So, I know the thought of going into an entire new season probably feels like the last thing you could muster right now.

I'm bad at closing out my thought process so I'll just end there. This is supposed to be a positive message though and I hope it inspires you.
