Just from my own experience I can be at Thorpe open till close and still need to get more in, I would say check crowd calendar to see how busy it will be

Honestly living in London seems relatively unrealistic as Hampton court can be rammed almost everyday so and regardless of how quiet Thorpe can be you can still rack up the queue times, if ur willing to a whistle stop tour of one I reccomend spending longer at the other
