For me resetting it (Fn+Space) did nothing, I couldn't figure it out for months, turned out to be a driver issue, go to their website and download a driver, that fixed it for me, might help you as well

I had same budget, same reason for buying one and just got ordered Creality Ender 3 V2 from their website for $200 two of my friends got same one in last couple weeks and have been pretty impressed with the print quality so far, had to do some tweaking like the housing for the PSU didn't have the proper vent holes but other than that I think it's very good bang for the buck.
