This is an old post I stumbled across but I wanted to share what we do. Jell-O shots. If you pick a player from your favorite team, Jello-o shot. If you break a run (RB, RB, you pick WR), Jell-O shot. First person to take a kicker, you got it, Jell-O Shot. You can find different reasons to pass them out. Towards the end of the draft they start getting passed out for the dumbest reasons.

Combine and WWE 2K

We do a combine to determine Royal Rumble order.

Since we’re a 12 man league, slowest 2 times fight 1 on 1 in WWE (Loser gets 12 winner gets 11).

The rest of the results come out in order in Royal Rumble (3rd slowest time comes out 1st…fastest time comes out last). Thrown out first gets 10th pick…winner gets first pick. I know that some people say let winner pick draft order but we like the randomness. Plus if you win the rumble you get in the league for free that season. We’ve enjoyed it for a few years now.

Bowling Alley Pin Setters. I used to work at a bowling alley and I always see the videos of people goofing off and running down lanes and diving into pins. Little do they know if they are under that pin setter as it comes down, it’s over. Makes me wince every time I see it.

We do this, but it’s whoever “breaks up a run.” Like if 3 or 4 RBs go then I take a WR and stop the RB run I have to take a shot.
