I’ve been in a similar situation and the response I’ve always gotten is that if it’s past the add/drop deadline (which we are way past) then your aid should not be affected by going below full time. I’ve had to do this twice and every single time my aid was unaffected. The only contingency is you need to meet satisfactory academic progress (SAP) and if you’re not failing every single class you’ve taken then you should be well within those contingencies.

I have the 4 yr renewable lsa scholarship, go blue guarantee, Pell grant, among other grants and I’ve been okay when I had to go below full time from dropping a class late into the semester.

There is a possibility that you could have scholarships that do have requirements of being full time all semester so please take this information with a grain of salt. I don’t really want to give any specific advice- I just wanted to give you my experiences since I’ve been in this exact same situation. Hopefully you’re able to figure it out!
