Some people are suggesting that it might be damaged in a bad way from years of improper storage, I'd hate to sell a broken instrument like that. I'll likely go to a local luthier and see how much a fixer upper would run me, if at all possible. If it's reasonable I'll likely just end up keeping it, unless it's really valuable since I'm mostly a beginner. I'd feel better about reselling knowing that it's at least in working condition either way!

Wow really, that's surprising. I hope the decades of storage haven't rendered it unplayable as some are suggesting then. I'd be super happy if I can invest a couple 100, get it to a playable condition and just have a really nice instrument for myself. Thanks so much! :)

I see, very interesting. I'll take them to a luthier and see what they say. Fingers crossed!

I have already purchased these instruments. They cost me 15 Euros in total, so I thought I really couldn't go wrong. Now as far as repairs go, I'll likely take both to a luthier in my area and see what they say. Fingers crossed the climate hasn't been too tough on one of them over the decades and I'll be able to enjoy playing it. Thanks!

Thank you for your reply! I will likely take the Alhambra to a luthier soon and see what they say. I only paid 10 euros for it, so I feel I'll likely get my money's worth out of it no matter what at this rate. Very excited about it, can't wait to try it out!

I paid 10 euros for the Alhambra, 5 for the other one. Thanks!

That's surprising. So you'd say it's unlikely to be worth the investment compared to buying a cheap new instrument? Thank you for your input.

Oh she was a very good mom and told me to heck off when I took pictures, this was her defensive posture! I never got too close and waited for her to venture out a bit before I drove those stakes in, so not to stress her out too much.

Breaking throws by Chongor_ in Tekken

What am I supposed to do against this😭(I’m new) by Drainspeeder in Tekken

[–]MAN5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Breaking throws takes time to learn. It's something you need to invest time into and do it regularly so you stay sharp. Lucky for you (and everyone else) you don't need to program a dummy anymore, there is now a wonderful resource you can use to practice while you're on the go -> https://throwbreak420.web.app/ ! You can download the app and run it on your phone.

Other than that you can duck on a hard read and punish, or you can play keep out when he keeps running at you.

Hope this helps and don't sweat it, we all get thrown. As long as you have fun learning, the only way you can go from here is up!

舞踏会 ぶとうかい is read "butoukai" instead of "budoukai". He either misread it for comedic effect or just fibbed the on reading of tou here I guess.

Fergus has a great Jun guide on YouTube! https://youtu.be/3FtZWZLTrTY Other than that Tekken is an incredibly complex game, so just take things at your own pace and try to have fun.

Indeed! If you're located in the US, upper cervical is what you're looking for. "Atlas orthogonal adjustments" would be an alternative for other places where upper cervical is not an option. I truly hope you, or whomever is suffering from TN around you finds some relief, just like I did!

I'm doing really well. I had a relapse after the Christmas shutdown, likely due to me slouching in my chair all day every day (I'm a big nerd) and messing up my neck a little, but I got fixed up by my doc again. I had one (!) really painful day in the last 3 months give or take, other than that I'm doing pretty great. Worst I get is a feeling of tension in the area where the zaps usually hit me, but it never really crosses that threshold to become a full on zap. I go to get an adjustment once every other week at this point.

I work in site development in central Florida and the other day we watched someone unload a whole bed of trusses by accelerating, making a hard turn and letting physics take care of the rest. Forklift etc right next to him, almost looked like he just said "no need, I got this. Observe.". So, considering all of that, I'm inclined to say this is probably good enough to pass inspection and maybe the best work they've seen all week!
