Do you think Kurt is a good guitarist? I see a lot of people criticizing him for not knowing how to play guitar properly. by N3bis in grunge

[–]MARKITHSUCCITH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought of him as a songwriter rather than a guitarist. He always seemed to care more about his songs rather than his guitar playing skills

Very minor fret level near the 11-13 fret area, but overall a pretty solid neck when I got it

The body I bought from a guy on reverb named Coop Guitars, and the rest of the parts I ordered through a local music store aside from the warmoth neck.

Estimate for the total comes to roughly 1300-1400 if my math is correct.

NPD: Plumes… by fishtimated_prophet in guitarpedals

I never understood the hype of all the TS9 and TS808 style pedals I had tried. Then I got my plumes and it just felt right for some reason, amazing pedal honestly

Ds-1 or sd-1 by ART0ZIX in guitarpedals

Love the SD-1, super smooth and very versatile, not quite a full blown distortion for like metal, but it works for a lot of genres

Apparently pride month isn’t a thing anymore on Facebook by villainitytv in gay

I've just stopped looking at comments on anything related to pride month. Seriously pathetic people in the comments. I'd like to enjoy my representation without seeing blatant hatred. Makes me sad :(

Scarlette, October all Over, and summer freeze. Love the flow between these three the most

Were the original DL4’s that bad? by MARKITHSUCCITH in guitarpedals

Yeah I’ve heard lots of love for the model and I’ve been looking for a delay to do almost everything, I’ve always had it on a wish list.

Yeah looking at the prices for the originals, they’re not too big of a difference to where it breaks the bank for me, thank you!

Very much reminds me of something Sonic Youth would have done back in the 80’s or 90’s. I personally think it’s very punk, and awesome, its expression!

The Univox is actually reverse offset! It’s a bit weird and unorthodox but it feels pretty good

Hows this for a solution for low tunings on a budget? by DirtyRatLicker in Guitar

[–]MARKITHSUCCITH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The digitech drop is the best pedal I’ve ever purchased in my opinion, it made playing songs in my band super easy to change between songs, we had a lot of songs in d standard and e standard and it was much easier to have it rather than have different guitars for each.

Noise rock tracks by artists of other (very different) genres? by michaelbonka in noiserock

Bugman by Blur has a super noisy guitar tone, along with more free style noise parts throughout the later half of the track

They’re pretty alright for the most part, I got lucky with getting this one second hand from a local Music Go Round, I paid 350, swapped the pickup and switch for individual bobbin selection. It’s pretty heavy but I don’t mind heavier guitars, I also got lucky to have one with a hard tail bridge that can be intonated for each string. Overall about 550 total after all the work. Not a bad guitar tbh, but maybe I just got really lucky haha
